This looks pretty cool. Wonder if anyone has this in hand yet. is this a model kit we have to paint and build?
Didn't realize this was a thing, it's neat that it transforms but I just really want a cool Metal Slug.
Mine is finally shipping from SHOWZ. I'll plan to do a review as soon as it arrives. I have been looking forward to this thing forever.
Just got mine. I don't know if this is licensed or not, but they did an absolutely bang-up job being accurate to the original tank mode. If anything, this would be a great figure to pick up just for the tank mode. Build quality's pretty excellent, and the entire thing is painted. However, the paint does make the joints super tight and pieces stick. The thing is, all this would be absolutely tolerable if the instructions weren't the worst instructions I've ever seen in my almost 2 decades of being a collector. These are horrendous. Not only are the steps out of order (with some parts being transformed first, only to be untransformed in later steps), the stupid thing isn't detailed enough. Take this step for example. It tells you to simply rotate the barrel into the body. It doesn't tell you that you need to lift the barrel up first before rotating it in. As most of the joints were already seized with paint, I assumed that it was just tight... and I would have broken the damn figure too had I not watched a video review. Now, I speak Chinese, so it isn't a language barrier issue. The instructions are just that horrendous. (-.-) Other than that, good figure with a superfluous robot mode. As a Metal Slug fan, I kinda wished they made us a figure of the Slug Gunner instead. It was always my favorite growing up. Well, I guess leaving the head untransformed is always an option:
