Just got this figure, he's full of awesomeness

 

I got mine too but I have to open him up - I don't know if I should sell him because he's so out of scale with the rest of my action figure collect which is in the 6 inch scale.

 

I still need to get mine. I'm hoping they release some of the other MGS characters as well.

 

The action is really amazing - the details, the sculpt and weapons...it is indeed top notch! If you're a fan of Snake (be it Solid or the original), you'll really like the toy!

this is making me want to go back and replay all the metal gears. I may have to grab one of these play arts figs, though its size does bother me a bit.

 

it does (the size) until you get a hold of it yourself, then you forgot why the size bothered you  

 

Whats the build like? is it really solid, good high quality plastic? I haven't gotten any of the recent play arts, but I have one of the first kingdom hearts 2 figs and its quality isn't great.

 

I never own any play-arts, but I really like the weight on my hands, and thus, better than I expected

 

Well, I have no self control so I made a preorder with amiami for their september restock. The 3680 yen they are asking for there is a lot easier to swallow than the price on other sites.

 

Rampage that's awesome man!! I love the MGS series, own every game but I don't own a single figure I ashamed to say. I espeically love the new Peace Walker Big Boss with combat shield? Verrry nice!!

Thanks, The game are the best a lot of the time i will finnish MGS1 then move onto MGS2 and then onto MGS3. I don't have a PS3 or PSP so i cant play MGS4 or Peace walker but i do have them

 

I made it. In a rather twisted turn of events, I took a small carboard mailing box, printed out cardboard box textures with some customized writing (like "snake!" warning labels) based off the MGS3 box on label paper, plastered it on the cardboard box, then put thinly cut strips of box sealing tape across the box to make it look like a proper taped together shipping box. I was rather proud of it. Right now it's functioning as a container for a bunch of spare toy parts  

 

Thats a great idea, I think Im gonna have to make one for my peacewalker snake when he gets here in a couple months
