I beat peace walker in 2 days and I still can't put it down, I put in 170 hours in my file. That's how addicted I am. Also I have a prestigious soldier that has an S in combat and I have 24 mechs. I'm dedicated to Peace Walker and I hope there's a PS3 remake, I would be able to platinum that game in a month. I also hope Rising is as awesome as MGS4.

 

I hope Rising isn't just a hack and slash game like what we seen, I do hope they put a good story with it like they did with Snake in MGS.

 

I have never played a Metal Gear game. I plan on buying Rising when it comes out on Xbox 360.

Okay, need some help here from someone who's beat this game. I am trying to stop the Peace Walker from firing the nuke and can't figure it out, trying to find something online but thought I would ask for hints here....can anyone help??????

Damn you all! When I saw this thread come back from the dead, I was hoping for some new Rising info, with TGS and all that happening.

But no! Noooooo! Still talking about Peace Walker! But fair enough, that game is the quintessential, end all, be all, definitive PSP game OF THE UNIVERSE.

Easily getting MGS: Rising. MGS4 alone was brutally epic, so... close to perfection. AND, it made me cry manly tears near the end. Having grown up with the MGS games, and seeing Snake like that, so... wow.

Would get PW if I had a PSP, but I don't, so I'll pass that.

 

Here's hoping for a PSN port.

I am getting both. Probably ps3 edition for hd pack so i can transfer my peace walker data.

 

I wonder how they got Kojima to agree with them to put it on Xbox. I'm getting PS3 version. Haven't played2,3, and Peacewalker in a while.

 

Damn. I paid a pretty penny for my complete copy of ZOE 2 about a year ago. Wonder if I should ebay it while you can still fetch around $40 for it....

 

ZOE on the 360? My head exploded.

Regardless, buying both those packs in a heartbeat. ZOE 1 is a good game, but it hasn't held up to time too well. ZOE 2 is amazing.

Oh yeah, and those Metal-whatevers   Pumped for 3 in HD (twice!) and Peace Walker was such a good game, im glad its going to get more exposure.

EDIT: Konami is going crazy with these HD remakes, they're remaking Silent Hill 2 and 3 too! That's ANOTHER one I must get. It even rivals the ZOE pack.

I'm very, very excited about the prospect of "HD" versions of MGS games on modern consoles. I wonder if they will go the Twin Snakes route and add in content also.

 

snake eater should be good, as i believe it was pushing the ps2 pretty hard back in the day and it has a stuttering framerate. also hoping "HD" will make it easier for my colour blind eyes to see stuff in the jungle.
