I've finally gotten started on the game for real. It took me a bit to get used to the controls, now that I've figured them out, I'm liking it.

 

nice collection i own them all but the original metal gear and metal gear 2 because in to young for them and the acids because i dont care for them

hmm rising might be a pass. in my mind it to graphic for metal gear. and i like being a spy more than being a killing machine.

 

The gameplay shots look like MGS4 with a sword its even the same level pretty much as the opener of MGS4 so I think this may take place during MGS4 and or shortly before or after who knows really.

 

Well, I think rising looks awesome. I'm a sucker for sword-based action games, and this one looks to be one of the best ever. Can't wait for it to come out.

 

Definitely looking forward to Rising. Maybe it's another prequel.

 

Rising looks amazing; that is if they can get the controls work with this awesome mechanic- aw who am I kidding I'm going to buy it day 1 anyway. Looking forward to seeing more of this LIGHTNING BOLT ACTION in action.

That was crazy. When I read that it would allow you to cut anything I was thinking. "Man I hope they don't go for some lame cop out and make all the enemies robots or have some superheated blade that cauterizes the cuts" and they didn't!

Game looks awesome. Might get a bit hectic or repetitive if it's solely a hack and slash but I can't wait to see more stuff from it.

 

Peacewalker still ain't arrived yet. I'm getting the shakes

 

why does the 3ds get snake eater on it. yes the 3ds is getting metal gear solid 3d snake eater.

 

The Naked Sample is just a tech demo.

edit: I honestly can't find any info on if Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D is going to be a real game. Conjecture, and some even calling the full title (including "The Naked Sample") an upcoming game, but no one seems to have actually spoken with anyone at Konami or Kojima confirming this. I do hope so, and that it really looks that good though. I'm ashamed to admit it but I still haven't played Snake Eater all the way through (watched Existence plenty of times though)

 

I really hope RISING is more than just slicing everything you see like it was butter.

 

Just got Peace Walker. Will start playing after finishing MGS: PO. Rising looked awesome at e3 can't wait for it .

There will be, at some point, sure. But there isn't now. There's no info on this "game" whatsoever. IGN's article even ends: No game details were revealed for Snake Eater – it was just a non-playable demo.

 

That's a good move, because you will appreciate PW so much more. PO pales in comparison to PW.
