MetaGate G05 Bumblebee Movie Shatter triple-changer

 

Metagate is confusing me. First a Bayverse MP, then a Beast Wars MP. Now they've got Bumblebee Legends and an MP in the pipeline? Either way, I'm interested to see how Shatter turns out. Hopefully the car mode looks better than Toyworld's old prototype.

 

Haha damn these guys are all over the place. Love how random their releases are. With their track record I have high hopes for this figure.

 

Oh shit I’ll be getting this, their Drift is one of my favourite 3P pieces ever despite the issues.

We also know we will actually get this in hand based on their recent track record *Glares at Toyworld*

Hope we get a Dropkick too. We know already they can do a car/heli triple changer.

 

I have zero doubt about this being amazing, based on Drift and Terrorsaur.

Hoping it’s MPM scale, and that the Transcraft Bee gets reissued/KOed at regular size and made out of plastic that won’t crumble, so that she has a companion display piece until Dropkick is made.

I’m positive TC Bee did get a KO with better materials, I think the name was Knight I just can’t remember the name of the company that KOed it

 

I don't know how true these renders will be to the figure, but early signs are they made more sacrifice to the flight mode while trying to nail the car mode like with Haiku.

Sorry if anyone here works at Toyworld, but this company was "stupid", holding back its Shatter project until today and not having it released. It would make a lot of money, as we would all buy the only one on the market. Now it has lost total sales to Metagate, which, in addition to having quality, is launched quickly.

 

looking a little closer at the renders, it looks like this one will have nice beefy wheels in car mode… that was my biggest gripe with the design that was revealed by ToyWorld. If this release and Terrorsaur are as good in quality as Drift, then Metagate has truly come out of nowhere and become one of the best 3Ps.

I have that one, it’s an oversized one from Cyber Era. Too big for my tastes, and very heavy so he comes apart at the waist.

 

Ahh I see that’s fair enough, I haven’t had him in hand so wasn’t sure how he exactly scaled. Shame about the waist I heard they added quite a bit of diecast to improve the tolerances or something?

The thing I like about Metagate is on their Haiku I don’t recall any apart from the vehicle mode hood and it felt premium, I hope they keep that up with Shatter.

 

Ohhhh damn we’re getting both Shatter and Dropkick from metagate?? Oh you already know I’m preordering this!

True it’s strange how we haven’t gotten a drop kick and shatter (besides toyworlds)
