Same. And also Hasbro's Terrorsaur made me start appreciating KOs and 3rd party more. The ridiculous way they handled the distribution for golden disk terrorsaur... and it's rampant with QC issues?! Glad I didn't pay scalper prices to pick up their garbage. hasbro can go suck a lemon

I don't want to add fuel to the fire, but the artwork shows the interior of the "chinstrap" as red, which it should be. But it's white on the figure. It's not the end of the world, but it's a little annoying I guess. Can't wait for mine to arrive though!

It's honestly possible. It's just a headsculpt. Doing a single replacement head shouldn't be that hard to do. Probably depends on how popular this figure is, whether they think it'd be worth mass producing a replacement head.

 

I think I'll have to try and find a paint that matches, mask the face and apply it on those white areas. It just looks like an unfinished area.
It's nice that there are multiple face plates, I can at least try it out on one of the derpy looking ones first.

Paid for it as soon as I got a payment notice, was hopping it would ship before their new year break, but looks like it won't happen before then.

I actually prefer the sculpting and quite frankly I'd definitely be in for a company to tackle everyone else in the same fashion. I always thought the beast modes of all the current MP figures would look better with a bit of surface detail to emulatet fur and scale like the toys did.
I'm torn on the metallic paint at least in beast mode. On one hand I absolutely love the color but the beast mode parts would do better with a matte finish.
One thing I just notice from Emgos review is how odd the thumb orientation and joint is. Not sure why the couldn't have just made It a ball joint.
Face sculpt and paint definitely could use some rework.

 

Terrorsaur was always dark red and often looked metallic as he had shiny scales, so I think the deco works pretty well

Wow, Emgo surprised me with an interesting detail…the fact that the figure has movable eyes in Dino mode!!!
no other Metagate Air King video showed that feature from what I understand.

100%, someone did a quick and dirty photoshop/MS paint - looks much better. I'm surprised Metagate missed this.
