We just now got the listings, we're probably not getting pics for a while.

 

Those are almost the same ones I called out.
I stayed away from the ones that have definitive alt modes and focused one ones I thought had the best potential for integration with the Nemesis.
My first choice is Take-Off because his alt mode is pretty ambiguous. Could be a scout car with turbines. Could just a turbine manifold. Who knows?

Curious about how it turns out. Based on Bee and Megs, I can’t be excited. But definitely curious.

Will there be a Rumble / Frenzy the same size as the Joe figures? That could be interesting.

Questions, do we know what amazon's yearly capsule thing is? Is it more WNR or something new?

Also do we know about what walmart's yearly capsule thing is?

I have a little crackpot theory that walmart's capsule line is going to consist of mostly G2 and BW stuff, as I was going through the listings we know for next year and I noticed that there isn't a lot of BW & G2 stuff. Or at least G2 stuff.

BW only has Lio Convoy, a nemesis repaint, and PRs of TM2 Megs & Tarantulas (I guess that could be enough BW for the year? Tho I wish they could do one more new mold?)

G2 has nothing. The only thing we know so far is G2 Grimlock but that's part of a capsule. Maybe the capsule is predominantly G2 Stuff. Like the two leaders are G2 Grimlock and G1.5 Skyquake (tho they'll probably consider that G2), but what other G2 repaints could they do?

This is just a random thought that popped in my head, its probably not very well thought out, but I thought it was worth sharing

I'm kind of surprised that Grimlock wasn't the first of the Core Class Dinobots to be unveiled. In my head I always had the assumption that if you're doing the 5 Dinobots, Grimlock goes first.

 

Grimlock is the most popular/ well known of the dinobots, but I think they wanted to hype the combined mode, thus they showed off the combined torso mode. Gotta get everyone on board to buy all 6 right from the start!

 

Do we know if any of the reputable sources have seen Armada Prime yet? And whether or not it is in fact at all connected to the previous prototype we saw ages ago?

Personally I loved the look of that, but kind of feel it might be a bit out of place stylistically with the rest of the 2 Legacy Armada bots we have so far

 

Combining both the poster art matching said prototype and the fact Takara said not all that long ago he was still being worked on, it's a reasonable conclusion that it most likely is.

That's a logical assumption to make. I can see where they're coming from if that's the case, yes.

I never saw the prototype you mention, but may I ask how was it out of place? Unlike Prime and Animated, they didn't have to do much to make Armada fit in with the G1-styled Legacy designs, am I mistaken?

 

Honestly, can some of you guys reign it in like the Mod politely asked? Please? At a certain point, it'll just be easier for them to lock the thread than try and clean it up. Geez.

The thing that keeps me up at night right now is that SS WFC Infantry thing. If it really refers to the basic Soldier enemy you fight in the War For Cybertron game, I wonder what it'll look like.

The Autobot, Decepticon and Neutral Soldiers all came in different colours (e.g. Red, Blue, Green for 'bots, Purple and Black for 'cons, Brown, Yellow for Neutrals), and while the Autobot and Neutral Soldiers had the same design the Decepticon Soldiers had faceplates that resembled the Battle Android Troopers. Or Cyberjets.

Naturally, the thought also occurs to me that WFC might be referring to the Netflix series, but what mold would fall under "Infantry"?
