I'd like to tip it's the old mad Einstien scientist bot, or Wheeljack, IMO.

As far as Jolt goes, if he's coming back at all, I'd rather see him stay the Volt, even if they give him a new paint job (repaint = $$$), than having a new alt-mode. That said, he doesn't have to come back at all, IMO. I, for one, wouldn't miss him, but I know he has his fans.

That said, Einstein-bot being a Mercedes is right up these movies' alley. I can totally see that. Now if the bot is going to be Wheeljack, I'd personally like to see him as the silver one with the gullwing doors as his classic G1 back-wings. The blue sedan may be a better old-bot fit character-wise, but if they're going that route I'd much rather see an even older model car used.

Either way, I don't see Jolt being the blue Mercedes unless Mercedes is coming out with an electric car...

I remember somebody saying they heard Jolt was in TF3 because this guy had a friend who was going to Chicago to work with a Chevy Volt. As for being a Mercedes, I don't remember anything, and I think it's kind of a dumb idea personally.

 

That was me. His team has been delayed. My friend was actually assigned to a different trip because the Volt/TF3 trip was "up in the air". Here, I'll post a copy of his most recent email to me...

Hey anytime. You were nice enough to let us crash your place for two days. It was great to see everyone again. You are always welcome to come to the lake. I have not been in this summer besides Memorial Day and July 4th week. I don't know when the next lake event will be, but it will be sometime in August or early September. I had a lot of fun on the water and would have stayed the whole day if Mad Dad wasn't in a hurry.

I have not heard anything about the TF3 trip at all. The next time I talk to Trent I will ask him what he has heard. I need to get Volt shirts off him that I bought so it will be relatively soon. He will probably know who to contact as well to see if you are allowed to check it out.

I'm hoping it's the new Einstein bot. The blue Mercedes would fit for him.

 

Tho GM was hoping Bay would give Jolt more screen time, they are still a major sponsor in the film, and the Chevy Volt is set to hit the market next year. Weather or not he is in TF3 or if he has more screen time, I dont think they'd be all to happy about their car being "reformatted" to a european car. I personally am very interested in the Volt. I cant wait to test drive one.

 

I don't think he's the ''Einstein'' Bot, because he has o blue parts on his face, only silver. The Einstein bot might be Silverbolt.

New character? Seriously? Would they introduce a new character with the exact same color scheme as a character from the last movie?

Who knows. Jolt is probably killed before the final battle.

Although it could also be said that he's in robot mode fighting as with Ironhide, skids and mudflap as I assumed it is happening.
