Hopefully final discussion thread as I pick through my ebay lot..

I have a complete Menasor (apart from Stunticon smaller combiner weapons..) with two issues - Motormaster's arms are loose, and his shoulder mounting points do not hold the combiners well, the 5mm peg joint rotates too freely - any tips on fixing this? Thanks

Giant ball joints from Bionicles. Those seem to work for damn near every combiner figure I see here.

Ok, so basically I need to hack him up? Wasn't really looking to do that - its really only the socket joint on the arm which is defective to a greater extent, any tips on fixing scramble city transformers arm/leg sockets?

I haven't done it with Motormaster, but generally speaking I think that what you need to do is to open him up and see what the problem is.

if it's smooth plastic on smooth plastic then get some clear nailpolish on there to tighten it up.

if it's a spring that is worn out then simply try to extend it slightly and then put it back or replace it with another spring

if it is indeed broken...well...I suppose you could use shapeways to craft a new part, but truth be told you'd probably just be better off buying a junker motormaster to replace the parts that are broken.

I think I'd simply recommend replacing the Motormaster.
