Yeah that definitely stuck out to me. I'm sure we will see him at some point.

 

This seems like something that was done simply to get people talking, considering it says "holding out". That implies no knowledge of it actually happening.

 

They could have keep Prime animation at least.

 

It's just a tease IMO, because they're probably aware some people are starting to wonder if Megs will ever show up OR it's like a joke because Starscream, of all bots, had an appearance in RiD while Megs did not.

I'd advise not to get your hopes up.

I don't think so. He ran away into exile instead of staying on Cybertron as he knew he'd be hated for life.

Meh, probably a tease. I'd love to see Megatron but don't get your hopes up.

 

If he shows up I'd like to see him confront Cyclonus about what he's doing on Cybertron and telling him that he's pretty much became what the cons hated since the beginning.

 

It's most likely just a cute little reference/in-joke more than anything else. Although I do believe Megs will show up in season four, it's probably too early yet.

It's possible but at the same time it seems unlikely as well. I would like to see Megatron since we know he wouldn't be a Decepticon since he no longer wanted to be apart of that after Unicron used him. I also wonder how the Decepticons would see Meagtron. Would they fear him or would they consider him a sham for tossing away all he claimed to fight for? It would be interesting storyline indeed.

 

There already was a Megs in season 1.

A Bucket on his head, a Big Cannon on the right arm, and roughly the same size as Optimus.....I don't know....

 

From what I've read in the TFWiki, it seems like that Megatronus (notice how he isn't called Megatron) is the Fallen, aka, one of the Primes and the one that inspired the Megatron from this continuity to have that name.

 

Yeah but that's like saying anyone with a face plate and a gun can count as an Optimus appearance.

Similar features do not mean same character.

 

Megatronus is not Megatron despite everything.

He's actually The Fallen.
