megatron BY Don Figueroa copied by gary I copied this picture from DK Transformers the Ultimate Guide,Written by Simon Furman, art by Guido Guidi,E.J.Su,Richard Chasemore,Dan Khanna and Don Figueroa.sorry if I upset anyone.
quite easy actually! find a site to upload the picture files to (photobucket.com, or imageshack.com are the best) upload your pictures there, and they'll have the code you need to use to post them in a forum (its the one with the tags at the beginning!) just highlight the said code, right click it, select "copy", then come here and make a post and right click in the message typing window and select "paste". VOILA! Andy
Or, press "Reply", click on "Manage Attachments", browse the image for uploading, press upload, wait till it's uploaded, click on "close this window" (the manage attachments window, not the main window) and submit your post
I did what you said to do,I went to browse found the picture I wanted, clicked on open, then upload, then a few seconds later it went blank.
This is based on a pose and picture from the War Within series. Looks like it is WW megs dressed up in G1 armor. If it is freehand, it is a neat recreation of DW's art.
copied stuff just rubs me the wrong way. other than that it seems you may have a good sense of shading and perspective, but its so hard to tell what you can do when you are just reproducing someone else's stuff. show us some original pieces and we can give some good comments and critiques
Sometimes copying stuff is a good way to get started. Granted you shouldn't do that when you're trying to submit something professionally and you definitely shouldn't call it original. If you're trying to learn, it's always good to learn from something that's already established.
It's so familiar...but I can't remember where I saw a similar pic. Excellent MEgatron, I like the style.
Agreed. As long as the original Artist gets his props, I have no problem with copying. You know what they say about imitation.
Its from the inside cover of the ultimate guide, like he said at the start. Personaly I dont like the picture, its all deformed and out of scale. But Its a very good copy, and accurate to the orignal.
We don't see much pencil shading anymore... It used to be all the rage when I was in middle school when that is what comics looked like.
