It was the limited edition that was initially sold through Hasbro toy shop I believe and then later clearanced out. It was a repaint of that shelf glogging Megatron/Optimus 2 pack. but the Swindle appealed to some and I adore Overkill. $35 seems to be the happy place for these figures, But I've never heard anything good about the megatron/optimus mold. If your willing to spend $35, I'd say just save an extra $15 and get United Megatron.

It's actually a pretty nice figure. The arms and gimmick are pretty disappointing, but it's got decent articulation and a nice sculpt.

I agree save up and get united voyager megs. Far superior than that turd of a deluxe. Rather have tuner mudflap!

Personally, megatron is a lot more apealing than the deluxe op(why does hasbro keep reissuing that turd?) Am I the only one who cant get the wheels to lock in right in alt mode? The only problem o have with megs is that his weapon arm flies off.

well thanks for the help people,I dont think I want to spend $35 for it based mostly on the fact the arms seem to suck and it looks like there is no knee articulation.

The cannon arm sucks but other than that it's fully articulated.

Yeah. I hated that mold. But I HAD to have everything classics related so I bought Overkill. Lo and behold, he actually was cool!
    Weird.

This was a HTS exclusive, that later hit Marshalls and other clearance stores (and by later, i mean like a year and a half later). The clearance was random, i don't think anyone knew that there was extra stock waiting out there.
