The battle of the evil masterminds! current IDW Megatron VS Dr.Doom (616 universe) Rules: Battle is to the death or KO, Megatron gets a day of prep and Doom gets 17 hours of prep and they are both aware of each other's abilitys and who they are dealing with, fight is in south central LA with lots of gangsters around (lol) Who takes it?!
Megatron is Megatron, leader of a militia who has conquered and destroyed civilizations on many planets. Dr. Doom is adept in both science and MAGIC! I can't honestly give either en edge at the moment. But I remember they did have some interaction when the Avengers crossed over with the IDW Transformers.
In comparison, they are even on their respective universes, but if we throw one against another. Doom loses due the fact that Megatron is pretty much like him, but is a THIRTY FOOT TALL ROBOT who commands OTHER thrity foot tall robots. Doom, for the more badass he is, is just a man who commands other mans [or humanoid robots].
Point well taken. BUT, Doom defeated the Beyonder, that pretty much points me in Dr. Doom's direction.
Doom. Because with 17 hours prep he would realise that Megs defeat is far from certain and enlist the help of Richards and his accursed Fantastic Four. Because lets face it, both of these guys are gonna cheat and enlist help.
I would also like to point out that, while Megatron has returned from seemingly lethal situations on more than a few occasions, Dr. Doom has quite literally escaped from Hell, and more than once.
Megatron he have the cannon,alt mode, & a army. Dr.Doom just got a rule some country,and robot minions of himself.
