I expect it to be a good episode, but becuase its a two parter, I bet you he wont come back till the end of part 1.So what do you guys think? Im happy about it but I hope we get to see all the decepticons meet up kinda like in the movie. Right after Megatron kick Starscreams sorry ass.

I expect Lugnut to have multiple cybertronian orgasms after he gets to see Megatron in his full glory again.

Carnage in C-major is also expected.

 

I expect starscream will find some way to convince megatron that he had nothing to do with his death/decapitation/dismemberment/made him 'asplode ...somehow...

 

I also expect that he won't become complete untill near the end of episode. I would find it great if Lugnut just hauls off and slams Starscream when Megs shows up.

 

There is no possible way that this can not be a good episode. Megatron gets his body back, character development for Prime, Decepticon invasion...HOW CAN THIS NOT BE AWESOME?

Speaking of the 'cons, who's willing to bet that Soundwave and Blackarachnia show up?

I seriously doubt that Megatron will actually believe anything Starscream says after hearing him boast to the Autobots about he defeated Megatron.

Starscream finds out with Soundwave say "Megatron Live!"

 

Megatron will return in full force by episode's end.

While meanwhile, the Autobots are distracted by Starscream's Brigade attacking them. Though I could see Lugnut leaving the battle early.

 

I really doubt soundwave will show up. As for starscream, he might have lugnut and blitzwing minions. As soon as megs is back, LUGNUT SUPER PUNCH!!!!! Into screamer. The BA will come in and bitch for a while.

 

WARNING: Spoilers if true, speculation if not.  

Best guesses: some Decepticon steals the key from Sari (perhaps Sari herself) and brings it to Megatron - maybe BA doing a stealth creep-around, or Lugnut bashing through walls like the Kool-Aid main.

Another possibility, especially since Starscream scooped up Blitz'n'Nut, is SS brings the key to Megs, and refuses to restore him unless Megs recognizes Starscream as leader. Maybe he even plants some kind of bomb or "compliance device" inside Megs while the body is being rebuilt, with the idea of keeping Megs in line.

In any case, I agree with the assessment that the first half of the two parter is probably about bringing Megs back, with him restored at episode's end, along with a kid-friendly version of "Oh sh!t! What're we gonna do now!?", while the second part will be all about the Autobots trying to keep Megs and the other 'cons from wiping out them and/or the Earth. Perhaps that "compliance device" (which may or may not exist   ) will factor in somehow.

 

Nah. If Screamer threatens Megatron like that, all that Megatron has to do is just call in Lugnut via private comlink.

 

All I know is, this has potential to be the stand out episode(s) of the season. Can't wait for it. And knowing that it will end on a cliffhanger makes me a sad panda. I hate cliffhangers. Meh, at least I will be able to see the end of it, unlike YOU God of War II (fucking Sony....).

 

Although I'll never get to see TFA, I bet there will be some lost of trust between Sari and her dad in this episode

 

Prime doubts himself

I find it interesting that the Animated Prime doubts himself and his command. Like most of you, the G1 Optimus always felt like a good father figure: wise, confident, patient. The Animated Optimus feels more like a big brother. Not that this is a bad thing. I applaud writers for bringing new material to the show. I'm not a stickler about faithfully reproducing the original G1 show. If all writers do was copy everything from the originals, there would be nothing new to get excited about. I enjoy the numerous homages to the original show and its wealth of characters. I could not be happier with the new series.

i would vote against this based on the fact theyve already done the kidnap sari angle.

im thinking, decepts threaten sari with her dad.

and itll be damn frigging time prime gets the spotlight back since the BA epi.

 

Ehm, that's hardly new. G1 Prime was so full of self-doubt in the G1 and G2 comics, there were times Grimlock seemed like a better choice for an Autobot Leader. But at least this gave him some character developement... As opposed to his cartoon counterpart who was simply the boring old goody-goody leader (when did he ever had to make a decision about deciding the life or death of his best friend when he fused together with his worst enemy?)

But I like it that this has been transferred to Animated as well. In fact, I like this younger version of Prime, it's refreshing to see him becoming the legendary leader he will be much later - I'm anxious to see the backstory behind his fall from grace and why Magnus demoted him to repairing space bridges...

 

He'll be back in his new body by the end of the episode. Screamer will finagle
his way into his graces again only to have it taken away from him by the first part's finish.

 

I'm thinking it will go down something like:

All out Decepticon invasion, Prime's doubts costs the Autobots big time. Megatron comes back toward the end of the episode, ending on the cliffhanger that Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Ratchet are all captured, leaving Prime and Prowl on their own against all the Decepticons.

Part 2, Prowl leaves mysteriously making Prime doubt his ability to command the one Autobot left, goes one on one with Megatron and gets badly defeated until Prowl returns with the Dinobots and frees the others. Then we get a huge battle with Autobots and Dinobots fighting the Decepticons.

I really, really hope we get a Dinobots to the rescue scene which leads to them becoming honorary allies of the Autobots. But if it does, it'll be in part 2.

 

i think Starscream won't know megs is alive until megatron broadcasts his whereabouts upon reconstruction, Lugnutz will be first to turn to megatron's aide and starscream will most likelt try to get as far away as possible when Megatron reveals it was him who started the events that ended with him being just a head.

 

Im thinking that this incarnation of Screamer would be more likely to head straight to Megatron and try to finish him off before he recovers.

My guess is that Lugnut will be the one Megatron contacts, who will then give Screamer a thorough ass-kicking and kidnap Blitzwing again.

I would also love to see the Dinobots and Autobots teaming up for a massive brawl with the Decepticons. Grimlock & Prime vs Megatron?
