    Hi all,

As I took some pics for a collection thread, I also took a pic of the Megatron painting I did on canvas a while ago.

It's not an entirely original work, it's heavily based on a picture of Megs and Galvy I saw on Deviantart yonks ago.

Full credit for inspiration goes to whoever did that picture, if anyone knows.

    Anyways, here it is:

I think Australian people are great. So much more friendly than those damn Kiwis. What are the dimensions of this painting? It would look awesome HUGE, like 4 x 6 feet...or whatever that works out to in meters. Damn metric system.

Heheheh, I'm not Australian, the username is a hangover from my travelling days when I lived in Aus for a bit. I'm a Yorkshireman!

I think it's roughly A3 sized, one of my smaller canvasses. I like doing the bigger ones, but they take me flippin' ages, I did a A2 sized painting of a Tapir for a friend and it took me about 3 months, lol

That's quite awesome. Did you also paint the one that's pictured above your Detolf cases?

    Cheers guys.

I have a non-TF painting I need to finish up but then I might do another small TF one to hang next to this. Any suggestions for a subject?

Very nice, I've been thinking of doing a similar styled one of Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper, but getting round to these things seems to be a lot harder that the actual painting part for me.

Took me about 7 months to do a 4ft² Painting of John Lennon, actual painting time was only about 20 hrs though, just couldn't get inspired for a long time! I have a few half finished ones that i plan to go back to eventually.

Too true, the one currently on my easel has been there for a few months but I haven't touched it for most of that, just waiting for the inspiration to finish it!
