I know this is late, since the finale has already had several days to be discussed, but in "Inside Job," my favorite part of the episode (possibly the entire season) had to have been when Smokescreen jumped off the side of the ship.

Megatron throws the two closest cons off the side the Nemesis after him,
the first one transforms into a jet and dives after Smokescreen,
The second one transformed into a car and falls to his death.

I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard.

 

I love that moment too, though it was a pain trying to recreate that moment with the toys for a picture.

 

I can imagine. Unless TF toys can suddenly levitate.

 

That wins so much.

 

It's even better when you realize that Nolan North is voicing him and he sounds exactly like Deadpool when he screams.  

 

It is not how I would like our leader to act.
He, actually, could have brought that fellow back, it wouldn't hurt him at all.

 

Jetbolt, nice picture, I really like the quality.

 

Of course it wouldn't hurt him, but it would require him to actually care.

 

Jetbolt is seriously one of the best photographers on TFW2005.

 

Unfortunatly, while I found the scene funny, I thought it was incredibly stupid.

Why did he transform if he knew he can't fly?

And don't start with this "He forgot." stuff, YOU DON'T FORGET YOU'RE NOT CAPABLE OF FLIGHT.

 

It was a involuntary reflex he panicked and couldn't control his T-COG.

 

Not to rain on Jetbolt's parade, but:

I can't believe I got this to balance unsupported.

Definitely one of my favorite scenes in all of TFs, right up there with "Squidhead."

Probably just to show viewers/Megatron he was a car guy and not a jet guy.

I thought it was hilarious. My daughter couldn't stop laughing. We had to pause it for a second. My wife couldn't figure it out, so we showed her the scene. She was stonefaced when he transformed and had this "I don't get it" look and tone.


....until he hit the ground while screaming. I thought she was gonna spit her Jamaican Me Happy all over our nice, clean, WHITE rug. She's never taken a real interest in the show, but she LOVED that moment.

Laughed her ass off when she saw the whole thing, finally.

 

He wanted somebody to notice it and help him...
He wanted Lord Megatron to know, why he didn't try to follow the "order".
It was done for us to understand, what was going there.

It is not that he wanted to fly- it is just Lord Megatron wanted to use that Vehicon as a projectile.

Meta777, he could care about the resources.

 

Screaming the whole way down.


Laughed my butt off on that one.

 

Because a screaming car falling to its death is more dignified than a screaming robot falling to its death  

So he killed one trooper. He's got hundreds more troopers. Megatron doesn't care about them because they're so easy to replace  

 

Meta777, Megatron would drop a Vehicon off, even if he knows that it was the last one: our Lord doesn't fear shortage.
