Ashe and Buckfire's voices in ZX are embarrassing and terrible.

It’s one of my favorite rpgs

I honestly don’t remember their voices, but I don’t think I played as Ashe in ZX advent, I only ever beat advent with grey

Man, between a coworker convincing me to pick up one of the pokemon games and now the ENTIRE RUN of Z/ZX games on Switch? Here I thought I was out of the video game scene. But I've always wanted to play Z3 and I'm sure the animations are going to look GORGEOUS on glorious widescreen 1080 HD.

Though I'm wondering how they're going to pull off ZX since a lot of the gimmicks there were built around the use of dual screen for form changing.

They have a lot more buttons to work with than the DS, though. Controls can be remapped. I don't think the dual screen control was very intensive.

Touch screen controls as far as I remember were entirely non essential, the touch screens main benefit was the special abilities of each form, like enemy radar and stuff like that

    She likes booty.

Capcom, did you know what century you were in during the making of ZX Advent?

Ok, yea those voices are pretty bad haha, though I think it’s more the acting that the voices themselves. Capcom should have definitely kept the ocean group once they got them for the x series and let them do voices for the franchise overall

I always played as grey because I felt like he was the intended character, especially since he had a face scar like axl

Yeah, the only one I've played was 4, which was good until I couldn't figure out how the fuck to get past the final room against the time stopping chicken on my third playthrough. For some reason my reaction time couldn't handle the boxes anymore.

Good to know about the touch screens, too. Always wanted to give ZX and ZXA a go, they looked fun.

Also, fun fact I learned a loooong time ago: you can actually beat the first form of the final boss of ZXA without damage as unarmored Ashe. Apparently her gun has slightly more damage that can trigger the escape route when the dragon's horn is dragged on the ground allowing her to crawl under the neck.

Popla Cocapetri?  But he is one of the easiest bosses in the game, second only to Tech Kraken. In fact, most of Z4's bosses were easy, save Dr. Weil, Heat Genblem and Minos Magnun. Weil is the only reason I've not beat 4 yet. That boss fight is cheap and obnoxious.

Ohhh boy, if you have probs with him, your gonna really struggle with the first 3. They can get rage inducingly difficult and that's even if you don't decide to go for the ex skills.

There won't be any easy weather system to net you those. Your gonna hafta up your skill, not die, use little to no cyberelves, grind for e-crystals and do a lot of resetting and even then, some of those bosses and levels will make you wanna chuck your game through the window.

I'd say the hardest bosses in each are:

    MMZ-Copy X

    MMZ2-Phoenix Magnion

    MMZ3-Dethtanz Mantisk

Then you'll have obnoxious levels like Disable the bombs, Temple of Flame and Neo Arcadia.

Still, there's plenty of fun to be had and you will feel like such a bad-ass everytime you A or S rank and grab that skill. You don't need high ranks for Z1 though. No ex skills there, just bragging rights. This series is literally built for speed runners and perfect runners tbh. Though you don't need to be perfect. It took me about 3 or 4 years to beat Z3 with an A rank, because I'm terrible at hard games.

Damn, I’ve forgotten how depressing the megaman zero games were.... Especially the Japanese ones where if you cut peeps in half, blood like substances will shoot out.

It did ended on a happy note, ironically.

Well, bittersweet. Neo Arcadia and the rest of the imminent threats are defeated and Ciel and Resistance live to rebuild the world in a better way, but Zero and X are gone for good.

Yeah, but at least 200 years of peace is a pretty good run. Especially in a universe of X and Zero. Expanded media goes more into detail 2 years after megaman zero 4. It’ll cheer people up.

I don't recall there being a 200 year gap between the Zero/ZX games. You must be thinking of the gap between the X and Zero games.
