I haven't even had a chance to take Megatron out of his box yet. :(  Here I am salivating for TA's next release of Soundwave.
Got to love the first world problems. :)

I wonder if Soundwave will be in scale with Megatron or are all characters in the MAS line 18" tall?

I hope they are in scale with each other and not just all of them 18 inches tall. someone on here suggested Bumblebee as a character for them to do, but there is no way I would buy an 18 inch Bumblebee who was just as tall as Optimus or Megs.

I am sure this has been stated and may be an unpopular opinion but I am first and foremost a Star Wars and GI Joe Collector. I have a lot of the quote/unquote Transformers vehicles that they did for the GI Joe line that don't transform....a Hound in Jeep mode, a Shockwave and Soundwave in tank mode, a Starscream and Powerglide in jet mode, and others. I have these because they go along with my Transformers vs. GI Joe diorama. The Toys Alliance MAS figures are incredible as they represent the most accurate size of Optimus Prime and Megatron next to the 1:18 scale figures. I understand some people have to have their Transformers transform but it does not work well when trying to cross over with other toy properties. What is Cobra Commander going to do with my MP Soundwave or MP Megatron when they transform from robot to a freakin' gigantic gun/ tape deck mode?

But like it was said....to each their own.

Really big fan of the line . Would honestly love if they ever did an Unicron as well because making an actual huge Unciron that actually transforms into a sphere would just have been a chore transforms .Would not mind if they make an bing non transformable one

Oh, wow - if that's a painted prototype, I hope we're getting close to a release. Megs had a crazy long pre-order period IIRC.

I preordered Megatron on August 1, 2017 and just received him today.

I wouldn’t expect Soundwave for at least a year, if not like January 2020. Maybe they can pick up the pace since they have a couple under their belt and hopefully have the kinks worked out of their design process.

I’m definitely ready for Soundwave and would love the likes of Bumblebee or some of Soundwaves cassettes to act as cheaper fillers between big figures.

I’ll say this about Soundwave’s possible size, after getting Megatron, I realized there’s a few visible components that he shares with Prime and I’m guessing they share a lot of internal parts. I’d guess Soundwave will be the same.

Will this come with an actual transforming Laserbeak? And maybe Buzzsaw (in his chest compartment).

Looks like a very Masterpiece transformation scheme, if so.

Doubt it. Might just be a cassette version of Buzzsaw & Laserbeak in bot mode. As I understand it, when another party has a TF liscence from Hasbro, they can make articulated figures but they can't have them actually transform. Could be wrong, anybody out there with better knowledge about it?

This is true, based on common sense alone (I don't mean anything bad by it).

I don;t believe Has/Tak lets Third parties (official) make Transforming Transformers. Unless of course is a pen or something odd like a shoe or a Sega Dreamcast.

Is that some part reuse I see in the arms? Anyways, Soundwave's boxy design lends itself well to what the MAS series has brought so far. Unfortunately, I don't have room for a collection of figures this size beyond Prime and Megatron.
