Wasn't that where they tried to demonstrate how it could walk up stairs, where it proceeded to walk up 2 steps then fell over??
To be honest it's all getting a bit crap now. Asimo needs to start showing us something more amazing. Perhaps when they can make it backflip off a table then I'll start to feel it's still worth the effort and cost put into it. Perhaps have it beat up a child using karate. Have it do more than just pour a drink and fall over. Karl Pilkington saw an Asimo recently in his Idiot Abroad show and he wasn't that impressed. 'It walks like it's shit itself' was his first main observation. He also didn't see the point in making a robot that could dance. 'We have too many dancers in the world already. We don't need to be making robots that dance too'.
Actually a 'razor death' Asimo might be quite useful. Get him to run into a rioting crowd and disperse it with his wildly flailing jagged body.
The fact that this robot can open a twist top container with articulated hands and pour the liquid into another container without spilling it is astounding. At the rate that Asimo is evolving, I expect him to reach almost "I Robot" level within my lifetime.
thank you! give the robot some damn credit, let's see you try to build a robot as sophisticated as that.
Meet the 2014 Corvette http://jalopnik.com/5858683/exclusive-this-is-the-2014-chevy-corvette Well I was right about no production Corvette SCC, it's the 2014 Corvette ZR-1 not the base model. Jalopnik said they have pics of the Base model as well, but focused on bringing these rendering's based on the photo's they have of both on the ZR-1.
I wouldn't hold my breath. The new Vette might be similar to Sideswipe, but won't be nearly as close as 'Bee is to a production Camaro.
it better be the concept stingray used to make sideswipe, and not the lameass convertible version it is a crime against humanity that sexy thing hasn't been released
