That fabric jacket photographs with a very high sheen.
As much as it'd be neat to have an Into the Spider-Verse shelf, I had to draw a line (even with the ML versions).
I still like unemployed Peter B's look, though. It's hilarious.

I ordered my first Mafexes last year (Venom, Spider-Man, and Wolverine), and while I liked them fine, I didn't think they were SO much better than Marvel Legends as to justify the price. Unfortunately, all my other Amazon JP preorders had passed the cancellation date by then, so I was committed to buying a bunch more, which made me a little frosty.

"So that's it," I said. "No more Mafex. I'm not even gonna pay attention to their solicitations."

Then, like, a month later, I preordered Azrael-Batman. And if they make a Superboy from this line, I'll snap that up as well. I'm too weary to even be ashamed of myself.

yeah speaking of Azrael-Batman, does this costume appear in other colors or is it just the blue and yellow, since I'd love to see this in more 'edge lord' colors? :p :D

There’s also a red and yellow variation. Same suit, but made red-hot from an explosion.

Nice! How does he feel in-hand? I was a bit worried about him being on the more fragile feeling side given how thin he is but I've seen some comments saying he's pretty sturdy. Also I'm considering picking up Supaidaman since he pops up on Mandarake but still not sure yet...lol.

yeah, i know it's accurate but he looks frail, and i don't want to pay $80+ and he snap in half.... So it's good to hear he is sturdy.

Gotta echo what you've been hearing and say he's surprisingly sturdy. I did have to give one hip a little shock oil to be safe and yeah I'm handling him delicately to be extra safe, but I've actually not been too worried about anything.

The only downside I've had is some silver paint looked like it was starting to come off on my fingers.

(And I'd say do it! That Spider-Man also comes with a ton and I really enjoy him despite having never watched any of the show.)

That's reassuring then. I'll probably still be extra gentle with handling him whenever he arrives but I am excited.

(I'm definitely gonna keep my eye on SHF Supdaidaman on mandarake, waiting patiently for a deal for now but might just pull the trigger later on.)

Got to open Miles. Overall im happy with it and I dont seem to have the usual loose joints from Mafex figures.

I got Miles. Instead of a photo set, I have one photo and one answer, for the one question I kept hearing asked.

Do Michael Jordan's shoes work with Miles.

The answer is... not really. Jordan's shoes are quite a bit larger and the pegs on Miles' foot don't hold it on. If you were careful, you could sort of balance Miles standing in the Jordans, but you aren't going to be getting any action shots wearing them unless you sticky tack them on or something. Plus they look oversized.
