I think it's pretty well known now to expect delays on Mafex figures. lol. Especially with how many releases they have already announced/are available for pre-order. Pretty much just guessing which ones will be delayed instead of which ones will actually be released.

Since they also rerelease figures, they need to hurry up and get a black suit movie Superman going.

Got into my head I needed the Mafex tiger stripe Wolverine after ordering their Gambit. Managed to get one for about $50US. Honestly, I think it's pretty awesome. The left bicep popped off once, but I was expecting that, so no biggie. My biggest complaint is the mismatched yellow of the knees compared to the rest of the figure. Looks like I'm gonna need Cycke now, too.

Got it from a local Facebook buy/sell group.

I was pretty surprised to get it for that price. Tiger stripe is crazy hard to find here, especially for under $100.

Whatever date they set for this, add about a year to it.

    And a Psylocke now too.

Why does it seem like they're just mirroring what Revoltech has done with X-Men? Cyclops being the only exception... Maybe the import companies are only being allowed to do a certain set of characters for whatever reason..

Or maybe I'm just thinking too much into it and it is just a coincidental thing or doing most popular characters. I'm very admittedly not super up to date on that, so Psylocke in particular being done by both just stood out to me.

Might as well get their whole 90's X-men lineup if they do plan to continue with it. I wonder if they'll do the same for the Hush storyline as well.

I'm not super into comics lately but I remember Psylocke being big in the 90's? I honestly think that's what they're going for, looking for teams/outfits that people in their 30's-40's can afford and want to buy now.

The blue hair and blue lipstick on their Psylocke is.... too much. We get it, Psylocke. You have a favorite color. Watch them pack a repainted head with dark hair and red/pink lips a year later with a Mystique or something. Sneaky Medicom -- they know I bought their Bale/Affleck Bruce Waynes and Cop Joker to complete other figures.

Man I have to consider Psylocke. I don't like her Marvel Legends and this one looks great. She doesn't have the Butterfly effect piece though?

I'm not really liking the face or sparkly blue. Also wasn't a fan of the other female figure I have from them, especially compared to Amazing Yamaguchi. Probably going to pass on this Psylocke even though I love the character.

There are now 31 announced Mafex figures to be released. I'll be generous and say they can deliver 1.3 figures per month. That puts the actual release date of either Joker or Psylocke around September 2022.

I've been saying it for months now: you can't announce 2 figures every month when you have only ever delivered ~1 per month consistently. They'll never catch up unless they have a second factory up their sleeve. But with how expensive these figures are getting, we probably can't afford 2 figures every month.

The blue lipstick's a bit much, I agree. I wasn't excited about the metallic blue stripes on their Tiger Stripe Wolverine either, but I came around to it. I guess it's their slight touch of stylizing.

Good call out on the butterfly effect. I have the Marvel Legends Apocalypse versions and now the Nimrod one. I also have Yamaguchi and Select. All of them are all so different from each other so I feel like this Mafex version will be a good balance of them all.

I'm down for the Mafex Psylocke. In fact, I think I'm down for replacing all my ML 90s X-Men with Mafex. Already ordered Gambit. Hopefully picking up a Cycke this weekend.

I hate to say it, but something about that Joker seems... off. I can't point to any one thing, but taken all together it's not quite where it needs to be IMO.
