Just got my Hush Batman in. He's got a hole in the cape right around where the wire connects to his neck piece, which is a little worrying. Besides that, he's a pretty good figure.

So...of my orders, Miles, Peter B, Superman, and MJ are all slated for release in 2.5 weeks. How many will be pushed back? I think we’ve made it as late as the 19th before getting notified.

Nothing is coming out in August. The next figure to be released is probably Peter B Parker or TDKR Batman in September.

I’m talking about the first week of September...are you saying there won’t be anything until the end?

I'm starting to think you can't put this guy in a bad pose.

It's the mark of a great expressive figure when you just stumble onto poses that you're afraid to change because you might forget how to do it again.

But wouldn't TAS Batman require a new mould anyway? His designs have different proportions and shapes.

Whatever minor differences there are in terms of animation model proportions are completely drowned out by the translation from cell drawing to action figure. In fact, the MAFEX TNBA Batman is actually more similar proportionally to the Animated Series Batman, with more substantial legs and less broad shoulders.

Nah, the legs are too angular, the feet to pointy and ankles too thin, the chest is too broad and angular. Any worthwhile attempt at a BTAS Bats would need to be a new mould, as it was rounder overall. Only the arms look like they might be able to translate, minus the gloves. Reusing the TNBA body would be a shitty half-measure, especially given the $100+ price tag.

EDIT: You might be right though, as it comes with the BTAS grapple and batarang. That’s pretty lame to have inaccurate accessories on such a (needlessly) expensive figure, unless they were planning a cheap and easy retool.

Finally got my Hush Batman today. It was so worth the wait. Fortunately, both wires at the front are attached properly under the cowl. No major paint issues. I am very happy with this Batman. I might even double dip with the black and grey version. Next to my PX Sovereign Knight Batman, this is going to be a centrepiece of my Bat-shelf.

Just be aware that the alternate version appears to trade most of the accessories and extra hands for the gargoyle stand.
That said, I'm in for it too.

The only thing the black Hush Batman seems to be missing is the unmasked head/neck. They don't tend to show all the hands in the preview pictures, but it's safe to assume they're included. I'm probably going to get him, too.

Damn, my toy buying is out of control. I have over 100 things on pre-order at the moment. Super7 Ultimates, Mafex, Figuarts, One:12, Storm Collectibles, Fans Toys, Hot Toys -- nothing "cheap" other than a handful of NECA TMNT and Star Wars Vintage Collection.

Amiami just notified me that TDKR Batman has been moved UP from September to August! This late in the month, they must be pretty sure it's coming.

Sups, Peter B, Miles, and Jordan all got bumped to Oct (or later). I was really hoping Superman and Miles would make the cut.

I got Supes, Miles and Carnage so I'm glad. But I don't think Supes and Miles are coming out the same month. I think Supes in Oct and Miles in Nov if not longer. Miles was supposed to come out in Jul and its usually 5/6 months when it comes out from the time it was supposed to come out.
