I'd hop on him at BBTS while on preorder in case you wanna cancel in a couple weeks. It's a great figure and I can see it selling out at some point. The cape is just fantastic as @Legate showed.
That's true, I just have limited space and would like to keep them all on a "DC" shelf so I'm trying to be a bit more picky with what figures I buy. Haha. I'm located in Canada so I think I'd rather order from one of the Japanese sites. But it definitely looks like a great figure with a great cape so I'll probably have to decide soon.
I concur with @DukeFett. Order on for yourself ASAP. You'll end up kicking yourself if you miss out on this one.
my only complaints are which the stand was made better, and I swear I have a lot more issue changing hands then I did with Wolverine. I'm terrified I'm going to snap his wrist ports at some point swapping hands.
They are very tight, I was putting one of the grapple gun hands on and really had to push and the grapple gun part came out of the hand. It didn't break, just unpegged, so just have to glue it back. But I'd rather that than loose hands I guess. If you put the long wire grapple and stick it in, you can hold him up by it. I wouldn't wanna do it long term, but it's possible.
Okay - I'm sold on this so I just dropped a pre-order for the black version. For me, Blue Batman has to have the yellow/black Bat-insignia on the chest. But Black Batman? I don't really have a pre-defined look for him so this will do nicely. Still hoping for BTAS to release at some point before 2025.
I ordered this knowing I was on the fence and he just isn’t doing it for me, but he does make me think Superman will deliver the goods. I thought I could overcome the symbol on the blue costume but as with Bete Noire, I can’t deny my love for the oval/yellow symbol. So, that said, I have a new one for sale in the US for 85+ shipping.
Same I"m going to the black version as well, looks so good in black You'll probably get a BTAS version as well they'd be crazy not to do that version. Also, we will probably get a JL version since t's an easy remold.
The new Supreme Batman comes with 2 capes, one wired. I'm not sure if it's still leathery or not though.
I hate that cape. I hate it so much I cancelled my pre-orders for the blue and the black. Looks like my son when he grabs the blanket off our bed and tries to play superhero. A toddler swaddled in king size sheets.
There's 4. Two anchored near the front of the cowl at the "leading edge" of the cape, and two more about 1/3 of the way back on each side. On mine, one of the 2nd set is anchored well but the other is more loose. Still poses GREAT though. Neither of the first two have wired capes. They use those weird clip contraptions to pose the cape. Not the best.
