Yeah, I'd be happy with anyone making a Stretch Armstrong or better comic style Reed. But yeah, I'd settle or at least be satisfied the day I see any of these companies making stretch figures as a gimmick actually use stretching characters in their lineup.

When are other classic comic Avengers gonna get some love to go with the big 3 that have already been done?? Classic Vision, Black Panther and Hawkeye are the next 3 Avengers that should get the Mafex treatment imo.

The glacial pace of this company and the number of concurrent lines they have, probably not for years at this point.

I’d totally get a MAFEX Hawkeye though.

I’m sure a Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, or Wasp would be mixed in there as well.

Based on a classic Avengers lineup, Hulk, Wasp, and Ant-Man should be next. Possibly Loki.

I saw an advertisement to pre-order the DareDevil and the Cap from Hobby Genki. I'm undecided on the Cap because of how soft the facial sculpt looks. He also looks exceptionally thin. While facially and color-wise he seems accurate to the source material, outside of the shield it isn't resonating with me.

The DD on the other hand looks damn cool. Yes he's also thin, but they gave him broad shoulders so that also gives him a more acrobatic physique (or gymnast build). Anyone here pre-order him? Thoughts on the guy?

I probably wouldn't pre-order with H.Genki, but AmiAmi has DD up for grabs.

Yeah I did, best Daredevil figure yet. Look-wise at least, can't say more until we have it in hand, but I don’t think the figure will disappoint.

It is a bit more on the lean side and could use some mass, but like you said he's an athletic type so once posed in classic Daredevil fashion it won’t matter much.

    Comic-wise, 1000%.
However, in fairness this is a good-looking unit too.

I agree with you that aesthetically he looks the part. I haven't seen anything on the market that provides such a definitive look while in dynamic poses. I'm sure that Amazing Yamaguchi will probably release a version that will pose better, but not look better.

I'm fairly confident, because of Mafex's recent trends, that this will not be a lemon. I suppose my apprehension lies in ML.

Could ML produce something better? Doubtful. But (and I'm basing this on the '97 Wolverine), could ML release a figure near to what Mafex offers (in terms of aesthetic & articulation) at a better price point? Absolutely they can. I don't own a DD figure, but I'm planning to purchase one... Just one. Leaning Mafex but I'm keeping my eyes and ears open.

On this idea of ML and Wolverine. I'm hoping I get a chance at a brown Mafex Wolverine reissue. Love the size, look, and colors. I'll tell you what though, if ML can get me close, I may just go Hasbro.

I’d like them to make an MCU Daredevil at some point, perhaps with Born Again around the corner. I’m excited for the comic DD though

I’m not feeling the Mafex Cap, would probably go with Mezco for their upcoming one if I wanted yet another Cap but thankfully I don’t.

Daredevil would be perfect for Amazing Yamaguchi or Mafex but again, the MLs are already good enough for me. Only thing I would want to see done better is the clubs and most likely AY would do the best job on those too.

I have to say they have been releasing some good looking figures. Damn shame the scale is off. Fortunately, this shield works well with the ML 20th Cap so scale isn't an issue.

I’m all in on that Daredevil. Sadly not so much with Cap. I would love a Mafex Cap, but this based on his early avengers design, and it just misses the mark for what I want

Im willing to bet a lot of people are going to regret not preordering Cap when he releases.

All the ff talk in here makes me wish ANY company would make this version: 1000008522.jpg
Whoever gives me these first gets my money for sure when it comes to that team.
