Better paint, more and better accessories, and possibly better articulation (they didn't take crazy photos to show off how she can pose but she does have double jointed knees). Granted as much as I love the Republic commando style wrist knife, the price is too steep, she cost more than the Mando and only comes with about a third of the accessories.

I am a big Bo fan and at first I thought I was picking her up even for already having the Black Series figure (keep the helmet on and its just another Nite Owl), but yeah the less accessories but higher price is killing it for me too. The weathered silver looks gorgeous, the face an improvement, the accessories she does have interesting, I am sure I would prefer the posing greatly, Black Series figures can be a bit stiff sometimes and the Mandalorians are definitely an example of that imo but she also cost a third of the price buying her day one, an eighth of the price if I were to buy her now so yeah.

At the least I would have liked a flamethrower effect too. My no way this would happen picks would be to look at the cartoons and give her the energy-buckler and Darksaber, that would really make the assumed poseability pay off.
This reveal is just in time to wish for a swappable shoulder pad or something. With her larger role in the series for the moment I am sure we will see even more to wish for. Maybe like Djin we will be sold a thousand variations that I will skip on until we finally get the equivalent of the newest Mafex Mandalorian who finally came with everything I could want. Though it feels a leap at this point to think she'll have the same marketing presence

I literally bought the Mafex Shin Ultraman 3 weeks ago...

This kinda hurts and I doubt I'll double dip as the only thing I really want is the Beta Capsule.

Huntress just entered the HLJ pw. So expect it to be available at other places soon.

Yes, the running joke with Mafex is to add two years to whatever they say the release date is.

Ugh. So I shouldn’t expect Thor, Magneto, or Steel soon?

Here’s there schedule MAFEX put out a few months ago, it’s what they’re going by right now. They’ve been pretty close to getting them out on time, but maybe they’re starting to fall a little behind now. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Nightwing’s release moves back into April in a few weeks. Anybody else still waiting for cyborg superman from bbts? I have seen people get him, assume they are from hobbylinkjapan or some other overseas retailer, as I haven't seen him come in and I have an open preorder at bbts.

Mafex is a smaller company and seems to have somewhat lower access to factory time compared to say, Good Smile Company or Bandai or Sentinel or whatever. They'd sometimes have issues keeping up with their schedule as a result, then 4 years of covid hellworld kind of threw all of that entirely out of whack.

Mafex is just a brand name. The line is made by Medicom, which is no Bandai but far from being that tiny. I agree, how much manufacturing they’re able to complete at any given time is probably their hangup.

Fair point. Was tired enough to not get Medicom right instead of the Mafex brand, oopsie doodle. Them just not being able to get much factory time seems like the overall best explanation though, especially with how bad the problem got in 2020 season 1 and continuing onward into season 4.

Goodsmile has their own problems with delays. I'm still waiting on my order of Doom guy figma from a US retailer that says they haven't received their shipment from Goodsmile and yet, US Goodsmile has it stocked. It seems to be the case with other stores as well that they haven't received their shipment. Kinda effed up when you have the local distributor having stock for themselves and it's not even moving.

Are the wrists meant to swivel around or are they only up and down or left and right like most hasbro figures?

No, they swivel and rotate so you can change between right-left and up-down.
If you have a Figuarts or Mezco figure they all have the same style of articulation.
