Saw the review last night. If I had a proper camera setup I could've probably got a review out before this feller. It's a great figure, the only real gripes I have are no mudhorn signet, no jetpack, no Beskar spear, but I gladly trade all that for an overall better looking figure.

 

I missed out on the Mando and Hush Superman POs, ugh. I'll take a look at eBay for Mando listings, see if there are any that are fairly reasonable, forget about Superman, that ship has sailed.

 

There's always the hope of a re-issue or backroom stock surfacing.

They're killing me, I just paid resale for this guy, DK 3.0 and Bane a few months ago.

 

I'm surprised though that they're reissuing these instead of the JL lineup unless that's coming down the line when the black suit Superman version goes up for sale.

 

Are these actual reissues or just BBTS finding available stock from overseas? They do that with MAFEX rather frequently.

 

That would make sense but wouldn't the amount be much more limited and priced higher if they're acting as a reseller?

 

Probably depends on where it's being sourced from and what kind of a deal they got on the them. That said since BBTS typically won't answer such questions it's hard to say really.

 

Does Mafex have a customer support service? The qc I got on my mando is pretty terrible in some parts, one leg seems 3mm longer than the other, the cable was glued on crooked to the extra gauntlet, the pistol flops around loosely in his right hand, the right toe joint is floppy enough to make standing difficult, and the rifle holster isnt effective (though this seems to be a common problem and not my qc luck).

 

With a Dark Knight trilogy getting some re-releases, I hope that their Batman Begins Batman gets re-released. It's one of the ones I missed the first go around, and I have the parts for Knightmare bats that came with Scarecrow.

 

BBTS wasn’t the only retailer getting this stock: the chosen prime, AmiAmi, hobbysearch, maybe nin nin game, a bunch of different retailers got them too. I want to believe that it’s a reissue, because isn’t that a lot of stock to find in a warehouse??

 

Didn't realize all of those places were getting them in too. That definitely seems like a reissue in that case.

 

Got my Mando yesterday and it's impossible to get the rifle slung on the back like in the stock photos. Comparing instructions and stock photos of the rifle to the one in hand I think they may have changed the sculpt (specifically the angle of the sculpt) but didn't account for that on the strap.

 

Watched the review, checked out the pics...glad I only got the SHF and need to pick up the Bandai kit. Mafex looks good but just not needed and I still think the SHF looks overall better. I’m looking forward to getting the Mafex IG-11 though. One of them between the Mafex and SHF will end up as IG-88 for my collection.
