Harley looks alright. She's somewhere between cute (BTAS) and man-faced (DC Icons/Rebirth). But ouch, $100 for a Mafex is still really salty, especially since it doesn't look like she has anything but that mallet. No oversized pop gun?

1000% in for Harley, although I do agree that I wish she either cost less or came with more.
Not sold on Marvel though... I hate to say it but I think the Figuarts might be the better figure here. However, the Mafex is the clear winner when it comes to effects.

Yeah, I'm in for both. I do wish Harley came with more though for the price.

The effects are the main reason I'm going with the MAFEX... well that and I missed out on the SHF when it was originally released (just didn't have the funds at the time) so $100 for the MAFEX vs the average $150 plus the SHF goes for currently is a no brainer.

So all of these preorders for The Dark Knight trilogy figures, but no Bane? Isn’t that the main one that’s pretty much unavailable everywhere? I still need a Bane, more than anything. And since they’re reissuing figures, they need to give us a JL Black Suit Superman.

Don't assume it's a re-issue. Most likely it's just leftovers that were sitting in a warehouse somewhere that are being re-circulated. It's all scheduled for imminent release. There's no way Medicom can manufacture 4 or 5 figures plus the bat pod in a month. If they're even interested in re-issues, they can only do one at a time and it would take manufacturing time away from their huge backlog of figures that were supposed to be out already.

After initially passing on the release and not wanting to pay the after-market price, I came across a decently priced Peter B. finally, so decided what the hell and got it. It arrived today and I must say, it is a very nice Spidey. The Mafex comic Spidey is still, hands down, the best 1/12 Spidey around (in my opinion), but this is definitely a solid second place. And Mafex did a damn good job on the soft goods. I'm very happy I decided to pull the trigger. Now come on and gimme that Ben Reilly, Mafex!

Yeah, definitely Cyborg Superman. I'll be grabbing that as soon as it goes up for preorder. MAFEX seems to be focusing on Dark Knight Returns, Hush, Knightfall, and Reign/Return of Superman when it comes to their comic DC stuff. I'm down for Nightwing, Tim Drake Robin, any Bat villains they want to throw out from Knightfall and Hush. Really hoping we get some GL and JL stuff from them at some point. Would love Kyle from that era... Wally too. In fact, it'd just be damned awesome to have a MAFEX Justice League line up from the 90s era around that time.

A Mafex Tim Drake Robin in his first suit would be glorious. It blows Mattel never gave us a proper Tim Drake Robin. I have the Multiverse Red Robin subbing in as it's as close as we can get for the time being. A Knightfall Batman would also be awesome to go up against AzBats.
