Wow. Those look really great. Definitely getting the Batman, have to be a maybe on the Spidey. It looks great but I hated that new movie.

I just put down a preorder for the Batman figure. It's cheaper than the Play Arts one coming out, and I like the size better too. I hope that we get some in hand reviews before they come out.

These look cool, bt I won't be getting either of them. I'll be very interested to see what else comes out of this line

I like what I see so far. I'm definitely picking up Batman to see how these are in person. The only deficiency I see in these right now compared to their competitors (Figma, Figuarts, and Playarts) are the hip joints. They need to blend in with the sculpt better.

Batman's hips aren't too bad, but Spidey's got massive gaps between his waist piece and his hips in order to provide clearance for those deepy Spidey-esque crouches.

Probably would have looked nicer if they had pull-down hip joints similar to SHFiguarts instead.

Bumping this since their being released soon. Spiderman this month and Batman next month.

Preorders opened up again a few days ago at AmiAmi. So I caved in on Batman.

I thought that Batman was being released next week. Where did you find the release date you said? I have been getting anxious about whether or not these were actually coming out.

Anxious to here opinions on these figures, especially Batman.

Whoa, I guess I must have missed the part where these figures are 6.2" tall - Basically not in scale with anything. That might just be enough to dissuade me on the entire MAFEX line.

Also, the final picture in that review has me real turned off too.

I keep looking at the promotional pictures of the Batman figure, and it might be because I'm just looking for an excuse to cancel it and get the PAK version, but it looks like this Batman can't really just stand up straight. His chest is too big, and so it makes him look like he's standing like a woman, with his chest and hips popped out. Is it just me seeing this? It's particularly noticeable in the pictures of Batman standing next to Spider-man here: http://www.comicsalliance.com/2013/04/26/medicom-mafex-the-dark-knight-rises-batman-amazing-spider-man-action-figure/

I think that might be explained partly (or even fully) by the patented Medi-thrust pose that they have him in. For some reason Medicom poses all of their 1/6 figures like that for promo shots. I'm assuming you can straighten him up at the upper torso, which should fix that mostly.

Has HLJ shipped anybody 's Spider-Man here? I know last week was Golden Week and all, but I'm hoping mine ships soon because it looks like an awesome figure and I can't wait to get it.

I recently got Spider-Man and I like it a lot better than the Revoltech Spider-Man. The MAFEX one feels like a Figuarts and has all of the articulation of one.

Good to hear you like him. I hope this line does well, would like to see what other franchises they'll tackle.

In box shots, hopefully that means it is on schedule to ship at the end of the month. I have this shipping with SHF Iron Man and War Machine at AmiAmi, so hopefully they all make it this month.
