So, only those of you with the Japanese released DotM toys will be able to try this out,
but I've been playing with the MechTech Ward game on the Takaratomy Transformers site.

    —V‚Ô￾bƒgƒ‰ƒ“ƒXƒtƒH￾[ƒ}￾[ƒIƒtƒBƒVƒƒƒ‹ƒTƒCƒg￾bƒ^ƒJƒ‰ƒgƒ~￾[

Most people have probably seen the cards: The figure card is solid, and each is paired with
a transparent plastic weapon card that can be placed over it to "arm" the figure. Weapons are
either right or left-handed, so you can have some interesting combinations of dual-wielding characters.

Peforming user registration on the site and entering your card's unique serial code lets you upload the
character or weapon to the site, and do battle against computer-controlled warriors of the opposite faction.

While the game is very easy and not terribly complex (the battle scenes look a little like olrder Super Robot Wars
combat animation), there's enough complexity for it to be fun. Each weapon can be used in both modes, has its own
properties, etc. Also, each character has their own special abilities, and apparently some special skill if paired with their
own weapon (?) For example, Optimus can make an energy shield, Arcee can ghost around at super speeds, Skids can
call Mudflap for an attack, etc. Some of these have special effects that hinder defense, increase damage, etc.

    Have fun!

From top to bottom on the reg screen is:

    e-mail address
    e-mail address (confirmation)

    Nickname
    Region (anything is fine here)

    password
    password (confirmation)

Hint (anything is fine, so long as you won't forget your PW)

Fill it out and they'll send a link to your e-mail, which if you follow, you'll be ready to go.

The button to start the battle after you've selected your character and weapons is on the bottom right.

Basically, you aim your cursor at the opponent's moving target with your mouse. Use the arrow buttons on your keyboard to select a move that's different from the color of the opponent's icon. Sometimes "SP" (special attack) or other special buttons will appear, which will generally deal more damage.
