After hating the black for more than two years.



Would have preferred Neutral Gray, but it was out of stock, so went with Light Gull Gray.

Clean work! Are you going for more of a toy look? And in that case do you plan to paint the head and feet grey and the lower legs white?

 

I was just bothered by the black wings.  

I had the toy when young and in my recollection, it was cyan and white -- I thought his wings were cyan!   Imagine my surprise when I googled and found they were dark gray. I only know they weren't black!  

I'm happy with the MFT color scheme except for the wings/chest cover. My phone camera captures the color as bluish-cyan, but it is really greenish-cyan.



Painted both sides. The pins were surprisingly easy to remove (non-knurled). I don't want to paint the hands (for now) cos I think they'll chip easily.



Looks better in gray. Black is too contrasty compared to its other lighter colors.
