Sucks they ditched the Mechs for Brainstorm and Highbrow. I'm happy they are finishing this set up. Just need a good Fortress. Probably Zeta Ford...

In stock now at The Chosen Prime.
    Mine just shipped.

I’ll miss the extras but it still looks like a solid release.

Super nice figure. I’m still bummed it didn’t come with an extra masked head as my Brainstorm needs to pull double duty between G1 & MTMTE. They better be working on Cerebros now. He’s my most anticipated Headmaster of the bunch.

Showed up today from Show.Z. First impressions are good. Same level of quality and detail as we’ve seen in the last few Headmaster releases. Love the anime accurate look.

I now have the full main cast of MFT Autobot Headmasters. I’ll try to get some nice shots of everyone, including Fort Max crammed into the studio soon.

looks decent and rge review sounds about right.

is there an extra check box on the packaging that might give us a clue towards a masked MTMTE release.

Same I got him. I was really surprised about the transformation. It was really fun and clever ! And apparently it is the same as the old unique toys which is impressive.

Like others, really bummed about the no idw head, especially I wanted him for my lost light shelf and him having a face plate was very important for the character to the paint it was included in the plot.

The good news is they are headmasters so I used chromedome head for brainstorm which is white and hardhead extra for chromedome (he had a visor in lost light instead of 2 eyes) not ideal but yo me its okayish:)  for now. Now I just need a yellow briefcase

I think it would have been nice to include the Brainstorm with a faceplate like they did with Hardhead, but I am not to bothered if instead they male him in G1 toy colours and give that one a faceplate instead.

I will be pissed off if they do that without announcing it before the regular release, but I would run to preorderer it without a doubt :lol

Hey @RickyLeeSTF can you please give us an answer about the packaging / whether there is a checkbox on the side? (If so, it often indicates future recolors). Thanks!

No checkboxes on any VECMA packaging.

Got mine today. I really like the colors they used for this guy. They're very bright and vibrant. I'm a little bummed that there's no bonus head, but all in all, his face sculpt is decent.

Got mine today as well. Nice figure, vivid colors.... but gahhhhh those little silver thrusters on either side of his head. They went to all the trouble of giving him a neck swivel and because of those little things he can only manage like 15 degrees of rotation.

EDIT: Oh, yay, they just pop right off! No glue or screws or anything holding them in. Yeah, those things are going in an accessories bag... the silver highlight is nice aesthetically, but not at the expense of head articulation.

I got mine today - nice toy overall ; interesting Transformation, the legs being the same is a bit weird though, and some way to store the guns on his back would have been nice to have - overall though I like him.

If they make a faceplate head version in Powder blue or a brighter green i'd buy it again.

I received mine yesterday. He is good enough. I wish for Rebirth colours and head. And I wish he had ball joints at the wrists instead of that swivel. I hate his lack of wrist swivel, Hardhead has the same problem... Autobot headmasters complete (ish)

I wonder how difficult it would be for a modeler to put together a MTME-style head for this guy. The more I stare at him on the shelf, the more I wish he had a faceplate option. @NOCV, did you get this guy? Curious if you have any insight on custom HM heads for Vecma figs.

I haven't yet. They're on my list, but I haven't been able to pick any of MFT's HMs up yet. I hope they don't dry up like the Dinobots.

Usually the faces are separately molded pieces, making the face and eyes easier to paint, and then are attached to the head. Does his face pop off of the head? It'd be super-easy for me to bang out a new face for you guys.

I know you didn’t ask me but I just happened to have him in front of me and already disassembled (might give him individually articulated arms).

Face is on two friction pegs and comes off easily. Same for all of these MFT headmasters.

Awesome, thank you. That makes them pretty easy to replace.

Anyone have a micrometer to get some precise measurements for me?
