It was 139 at ShowZ for months, which is what it was when I bought it last week. Not sure why they bumped the price up $10 but it was only at $149 for a day or two before going to 124. I was offered no refund points.

Anyway, I look forward to getting it. Seems made well and I like the alt mode.

 

It's more expensive than the Dragoon KO, it should be 80 USD or less.

 

I wasn't offered them either but they just showed up. Check your points balance or just put a contact message on the order and ask for the balance back.

I went ahead and got this guy after PvP review. I originally had it on PO from ShowZ for the $140 but dropped it and got back in at $125. I also have their Blitzwing so I'm 2/2 with MA and wonder will they make Prime or BB since Transcraft fucked up the QC so badly.

 

Most of the Asian vendors do this. It is just good business .I've had places like Tf-direct and showz do it without having to ask. At showz, it is so common place , you don't even know they did it  
So big USA operations do it (TCP, tfsource, bbts), but you have to ask simply because they are so big and they usually don't deal as close with a release and selling price point change due to the stock shipping.

For that I'd grab him I think. It's not that he's a bad figure, just really uninspired   The overall design, the alt, the finish, his accessories (the gun, blast effect and Ravage...) nothing really clever about him. I know for many ppl that scene on Cybertron was the best thing ever and a "perfect balance" between the G1 and the Bayverse but personally I found those cybertronian designs quite boring. (much prefer the earth modes)
Maybe BMB will do a KO of their own figure for a 50% price one day xD

Just ordered one from there as well. The reduced price plus that latest review made the figure look solid, which is all I'm really asking for these days

Some small review

Packaging
Simple & minimalist design. Comes with a color printed instruction but it doesn't include the instructions for Ravage's transformation. WTF


Alt Mode
While many dislike the alt mdoe, I quite dig it. Understand that there's no reference for alt mode, I can see they are taking cue from FOC alt mode. I only wish the track can be larger and there's more transformation involving the leg to cover the empty gap. The transformation is smooth to be honest, with the exception that the shoulder joint is damn tight to manipulate


Bot Mode
It's not to bad to name this as the transformable version of the DLX Soundwave. Weathering effects all around the body. Some spots are nicely done while some I felt that is a random paint. I have no too much issue with the headscuplt but I only wish the tigh can be larger so that it is more proportionate.

While the weapon is nicely sculpted, I wish that there's LED for the shoulder cannon and the blaster comes with a tab. WTH, we are in 2021 and there's no tab on the weapon for a MP / MPM level figure?


The head cover is on magnetic and this hides the battery and switch nicely and I really like it. The chest cover in fact has a lot of details but its not easy to be spotted on camera unless under a strong light


Ravage
Many is saying that Ravage is the main item while Soundwave is the accessory. Well, I kind of agree. The level of detailing and paint are nicely done on Ravage and it's a league above Soundwave. There's no transformation instruction to store Ravage and I'm using some videos as a reference.

Ravage is nicely articulated and it will be great it is slightly larger.

For those who is really concerning on the paint, it has the similar effect like their Blitzwing and not as serious
