Holy Crap 2021 does have some bandages for 2020. I didn't follow this figure in general for a while, then got bored and clicked through all the Zeta Blitzwing threads. This guy is different. 2021 seems to be a good anti Covid year. We might get the best of whatever we each think is the best of whatever bot....for our wallets.

The jet mode is possibly too big for regular mp seekers eh? I know their BB is a larger scale, so if its in line with that, then it makes sense it would be too big for regular MP human jet size.

I love the more G1 face sculpt opposed to a movie aesthetic.

OK, someone in Asia/China needs to confirm if Thunder Warrior SX 01 is different from Zeta Blitzwing, because pics OF Thunder Warrior are being used in the Zeta thread. And to me, there is a significant difference the average fan are not picking up on. From chest to sternum to thighs and even feet, unless Zeta really retooled him from top to bottom. To me, these figures are different.

That's the best transforming jet mode I've ever seen. Though the panel lining seems too strong, and I'm afraid of 3rd party figures after breaking 3 of them while never breaking a Hasbro figure.

Watching the video, the way the wings are suspended on those thin loose pylons on the back made me cringe (especially when he gave it a shake and they wobbled). Seeing this now and taking another look at the Zeta version, it's clear these two started out as the same basic prototype design, but at some point they diverged - it looks almost like Toy World... sorry, "Thunder Warrior", took the original prototype and made it as-is with its bulbous cockpit design and fixed wing configuration, while Zeta took it and continued to refine it, adding opening an opening cockpit and other details.

It'll be interesting to see how the two stack up against each other, I guess, if the other one even comes out - it looks like TW is going to try to steal Zeta's lunch by releasing theirs first.

 

I only watched the video for 1 minute. The instruction booklet is useless. Supposedly it shows a total of 108 transformation steps but at the same time it's missing very crucial steps.

And .... the transformation is not fun (according to the reviewer).

Yeah I am pretty happy with my ThreeZero Blitzwing.

 

We never saw zetas transform, and their BB was a pain to transform as well. It’s still zeta. Just sounds like you personally hope it’s ToyWorld because you still hold on to their BS story from year's ago.

Not at all. I'm just comparing this toy in the video to the other prototype that was shown a few weeks ago. They very clearly aren't the same mold. I don't care who either of them are, I just know they aren't the same figure.
