Mine arrived today unexpectedly... first impresions: it feels a bit floppy (might be a result of messy shipping lol)

Looks good but im scared to transform it lol

So the general take this one is really loose and floppy while Zeta is better to handle??

The robot mode wings on the Zeta look terrible compared to this version which nailed them so now I'm not sure which one to get. Better looking terrible tolerance mess or better figure that looks way worse due to the wings

I've heard some people getting floppy messes but mine is solid as a rock, I guess it's just pot luck.

Same here, mine is fine. A few things needed adjustment and tabbing out of the box (the lower legs especially), but it didn’t take long to figure out how to align and tab things, and the joints are all solid - including the wings, which I saw a couple of reviews saying were loose.

So it does seem to be a bit luck of the draw, unfortunately.

Supposedly so, but Zeta is not out yet so we can't tell for sure.

I watched a review on YouTube comparing both that was Chinese but the top comment translates the comparison. I'm leaning much more on this version over the Zeta. I just don't want another toy world freedom leader. Nearly one of the best looking figures ever that was the worst piece of shit ever made qc and engineering wise. Literally never been that upset with a third party purchase before.

I'm leaning more towards zeta from just personal experience with both BMB and zeta figures. Black mamba's paint, QC and materials always let me down so I'm waiting on zeta.

If you want better QC, I'd wait and see how Zeta turns out

BMB has always been a roll of the dice in terms of quality

Haha 100% agree on Freedom Leader but this one, while not perfect, is nowhere near as bad. Worst parts are some joints being too tight/too loose but they're fixable by tightening/loosening the screws or using a bit of super glue and the leg panels popping off but for that I'll try applying some clear nail polish during the weekend...
But most of all, his transformation is a bit challenging but quite clever while Freedom Leader is just a shitty engineering... Overall, I'm thinking about cancelling my Zeta's preorder because I'm satisfied with this one.

CDF6061C-42D3-4A0B-9D81-6E40F0D42867.jpeg OS Dropkick looks kind of tiny to me. Even smaller when comparing alt modes. I’d take a pic of that, but like the others, this thing has minimal clearance for transforming and it can be terrifying for the paint.

If you lick it first, it will make you forget all about your fears of transforming. You'll also experience some ridiculously frightening hallucinations and may wake up in a different country, but that's the tradeoff.

Got mine today in the mail showz did the damn thing! Three layers of bubble wrap brown shipper inside of a bubble wrapped bag. Nothing's loose on my copy but a few things are scary tight so I might go at it with a screwdriver. both of the eyes were covered in Black wash out of the box so I had to scrape all of that away and there are several parts that are completely coated in black wash because I note it that they are supposed to be not black but they are. Seriously thinking about going through and removing all of the wash from this and transcraft bumblebee in both modes then putting a clear coat over it and calling it a day. received_292164642251606.gif 20210309_185401.jpg 20210309_185812.jpg 20210309_190037.jpg 20210309_194123.jpg

I've thought about cleaning it up a bit...probably not full scrub. I don't have Transcraft Bee as I was worried about the 'pattern' in their weathering and the size, but I got the 2nd release of Zeta's Bee and I wish it had the weathering.
