I would worry that MS and NA would make triple changes in the same size and while these are slightly limited they tower over everyone and that's what I appreciate about them.

Besides, they go in a display to rarely be touched sooooo

 

To be honest, it's quite easy to make TF figures - Legends, MP, chug scale... - look derptastic. I see it everyday on Instagram and YouTube.
I mean, in those caps, even Astrotrain looks a little goofy.

That said, even though I like the bot mode a fair bit - enough for me to pull the trigger - the jet configuration feels really off.

I´m a bit disappointed he is a head smaller than Astrotrain, but overall it looks great. Maybe not so great as Astrotrain or the next Blitzwing, mainly about their alt modes, but great anyway.

I had all the UT Headmasters and they were good so I pretty safe in saying these will be good as well and scale better with MS than the UT bots did.

 

Oh that’s a given... especially if like me you prefer your headmasters slightly bigger as well.

 

HZJ put this (no box, does not appear to have a boxed version as yet) up for sale overnight. Just grabbed mine  

 

The HZJ one cost $40.98 no box compared to a lot of others like ShowZ, baba, etc that are in stock now & max $39.99 WITH a box. And after my last order with Hzj where loose mft Hauler showed up with a broken arm and hzj basically dismissed me with no help on a replacement, I no longer use them. To get a loose damaged figure and just be like, well I can't help you on that, was weak.

I'm seeing Octane for $34.74 + $2.50 shipping, before tax, from hzj401. Does $40+ include tax for you?

I ordered one last week when it was 33.99. I buy direct with a discount, consolidated shipping, and no tax, so it comes out much cheaper for me than Show-Z and baba. He's always helped me with replacements etc. Not sure why he gave you a hard time, that sucks to hear.

I don't buy everything from hzj401 but when I do, it's usually because the price savings are enough and he's never done me wrong in the 3.5 years I've been a repeat customer.

 

Got my showz shipped email as well, exciting! Gonna be a great few weeks between this, MS Stunticons and ss86 Hot Rod coming in the post. Now if the Apache reissue would release...

 

Yeah most of us don't get the special treatment of buying direct no tax free shipping cuz the above checkout for me and basically everyone else is over $40 no box. I guess my 2.5 years and couple thousand dollars buying from them don't count for much. If I could do stop motion id recreate the beach scene in Private Ryan where dude walking with his arm

Ha, so he's actually pretty much as tall as Astrotrain. That first video gave me the false impression Octane would be notably shorter... Nice!
