Since Ulttre Megnuis or whatever it's called is next, the box appears to be about 6 inches. Saw it on DaimChoc's Facebook.

If MFT are gonna for steady put these bad boys out, I'm laying off Mainline for a while.

He's going to be quite a bit bigger than DX9's original release, who is about the same head-height as Chop Shop in the photo above. (via DaimChoc)

That's going to put him close in scale to the DX9 Megatron though so that's fine by me.

Ordered one for my son to play around with from rubadubspawn. We'll see if he likes it when I get it, heh.

The more I fiddle with this guy the more impressed I am; there are a number of areas where MechFans improved on the detail of the original DX9 piece (such as on the waist and especially on the treads for cannon mode), and the upscale was sorely needed; the original was too runty, even for a Legends figure.

Just a question for Legends collectors in general.

Are these 1-2 minute transformers, as easy as MMC Kultur?

I've checked wotafa and the technical level is between 3-5, whereas most MPs are 6-8.

Received this guy today. Not a huge fan to be honest. Maybe I let the hype of this thread get to me. Main gripe is the shoulders not locking in. Anytime you move his arms, his shoulders will start to shift. Also would have benefited from a bicep swivel instead of ball elbows for arm cannon posing.

Added paint app, still might make it dark grey instead of black. Used an old keyring loop which cut down and squeezed onto the mini matrix.

No complaints really, like him a lot. If i could add things it might be swivel for the canon, balljoint head, and a darker purple but as i say i like him still.

Pretty basic transformation, like a hasbro legends toy. Less than a minute.

I like mine a great deal. I just can't decide if he belongs with the other DX9 stuff or all to himself until more "odd scaled" stuff shows up to display with him.

He seems like he's kinda of a 'tweener--not quite Legends, not quite Deluxe. But I think he'll fit in pretty well with the larger of the 3P Legends, like City Commander and Mightron. (I'm fine with him being bigger than Mightron--all part of the upgrade!) Can't wait to get mine to see for myself! I agree, though, that a bicep swivel would be ideal for the cannon. Alas.

PS Nice paintwork, Cha Chi. Might have to try that myself.

I think Mightron is a centimeter shorter. They are KO'ing that, too.

MFT needs to hurry the fuck up with Magnus.

I read somewhere on line that he's due to ship on the 20th April - ie today - so he should be available soon. In fact I've just seen the first ebay listing for him so maybe he's already out...

I have had him preordered. Haven't been invoiced, yet.

Not sure what's coming out next? Mightron is MF-00. Soundwave is the next number after Magnus, then Dinobots. Sonic Wizard isn't even out to KO.

There hasn't been a prototype of SW, but there has been of the Dinobots and Cyclonus.

If MFT does all of the tapes, I'll trade for that. I'll stick with the Mech Planet Soundwave.

    MF-09 was a revised Hot Rod/Rodimus...

...but I think they've said that they're postponing his release, as they perceive there to be less interest in this figure than some of the others they've announced.

They said a few days ago that Gnaw should be out next month, so I assume that's the next release. Don't know if he's being upscaled though. Sixshot and Sludge should be after that.

I have the MB version. Hate it.

Seems like they don't even have a set release chain on stuff.
