Gotchya. I love the OS Legends, I just don't really think I want to spend $15- $20 on this when I've ordered the other ones for $3.50 a piece.

Yeah it is a bummer, but to be fair it was perhaps not right to label or think this was going to be a deluxe in the first place. I wouldn't call any of the other os mbs deluxe even though they get close to it...

Uh... for the price - I'm not sure why there is so much hesitation to pick this little dude up.

MB has a pretty decent track record with the OS Powerglide (and others), the Fruit of the Loom Warbotron Limbs (no word on their Onslaught sorry), and if they are in fact the same as Mechfantoys - I have their G1 and G2 Devastator KO's of DX9's Hulkie, and I gotta say the QC and quality of plastics used are A-OK. No limp d*cks here.

I really like that picture of the MFT Tyrant in front of that Ultra Magnus. Looks pretty cool to me. I guess there is some concern over what size this figure will ultimately be? Let me dig in and see if I can get an accurate description from my suppliers.

Totally understand that scale matters to many, but when I consider that this figure is about 10% of the cost of most of my MP figures - I'm kind of willing to just wing it and see how it turns out. At worst, I'll have another small little figure to give to my kids to destroy or a random desk toy to be stolen by the cleaning lady. At best I'll have a cool little Galvatron to fit in with my other War in Pocket & Iron Factory figures.

I was able to ask my supplier to beat TFD's price AND include free shipping. They should begin shipping next week if anyone is interested - please feel free to PM or email me at [email protected]

    Cost & Order info here.

I am curious if he's still bigger than the initial DX9 release or just the same size like the Hulkie was? I would have been all over the KO Hulkie if they OS him a bit as I find the original a bit on the small side.

    Almost an inch.

I want Hulkie upsized badly. I might break down and get the KO if I start buying these MB Legends.

That's a bit taller than the DX9 Megatron but I could live with it.

The original toy by dx9 was a shorter legends toy as was hasbros megatron. I expect those same size differences to be trasferred into their OS KO versions.

So this guy is slightly bigger than the "official" version?

If so, then he should fit with other 3rd party Legends figures better.

Well increase in 2cm all round is quite a lot in legends terms. He will be a proper scout size. Because he was a shorter legends toy before means he should fit better than other machine boy toys with current 3p offerings.

He won't really be a deluxe. You might say the upscaled minibot legend toys were deluxe scaled but it is harder to apply that tag with characters meant to be bigger like galvatron, optimus, seekers and whoever else as they fill look substantially small next other proper deluxe toys. With minibots that doesn't matter.

I am getting this just because it is damn cool, it should go good with dx9 dinos and ths soundblaster really well. I am excited to see exavtly how he goes with them.

If these guys upscale cyclonus and scourge i hope they modify cyclonus heavily, his dx9 version seems very blocky...

I went ahead and ordered one. Will get Cyclonus and Scourge if they are done as well. I wonder if they would OS the Ratchet and Ironhide?

Sarah Zhang has a case of them in stock for $14.50.

Bit the bullet. I've asked for mine to be shipped when Ratchet drops in 8 days. I'll be out of the states for a week.

I can't wait. The optimus ko has quite a broad mass when next to 3p legends. Galvontron is less broad so despite actually being quite tall should still work well.

I checked with my supplier and he again confirmed that the MFT Tyrant will be a 1:1 KO of the DX9 WIP Tyrant.

I believe the original was 12 cm or about 4 inches - so that's my story and I'm sticking with it (until told otherwise). At the price I've got him available at (including shipping) - I'm getting him for fun.

I've posted Cost & Order info in my BST here. He should ship this week.

Kind of goes against the pics Sirtoys posted a few posts back. Looks like he is scaled to the rest of MFT/MB OS legends. DX9 Tyrant is Hasbro legends sized.
