So just to be clear, this is an upsize of Galvatron from dx9's war in pocket series right? Not tyrant, the MP scaled version.

And when is MBD or mechfans or whatever they called going to release their warbo onslaught???

Wish these guys would stick to one or two scales. They released a bunch of great oversized legends and recently a ko hulkie. Wonder why they choose to upsize to deluxe all the sudden. <_<

Yeah no offence to people who like their TR Galvatron but for my money this thing shits all over it.

Other than Deluxe size, this is pretty tempting. I love me a good Galvy... bought Maniaking twice!

I'm now scared this thing's gonna be tiny. Don't the OS Legends now come in this same box?

Still not confirmed, but it looks like they may not be upsizing this one, so it will end up the same size as the upsized HasTak Legends.

On the bright side, it retails for about $10 and comes with a matrix on a chain!

If it's not upsized he's smaller than a Has/Tak legends figure. Much smaller than the oversized versions.

Aren't the OS Legends Deluxe-sized? Or going the other way, isn't this Galvatron an OS Legends-class, albeit a 3P one? Seems to me sticking to one or two scales is exactly what they're doing.

The OS legends are like 4 inches tall. They are scout class, pretty much.

    Galvontron is listed as 4.75

That's hardly OS at all. I thought about picking up the OS Powerglide, but now I'm kinda glad I didn't.

How big was the DX9 Galvatron?

The original Galvatron is too short compared to their Megatron and now this guy is taller than Megatron. I need a Galvatron about 4.25". I may still get this for a deluxe sized display I have. Is TF Direct a good source or will Rub be getting this too?
I would have loved for Hulkie to be a little bigger though.

CW Powerglide is 3.5" from his foot to head. MB's is a little under 5". I just measured them. My eyeballing was off. It's a pretty big size difference.

DX9 Galvy is listed as 4". So, they could've afforded to abiggen it to 6".

Uncle Billy has this listed at 3.97 inches. I think I'll hold off ordering this thing. That's shorter than the OS legends. Bummer.

If you look at Uncle Billy's other MechFans listings, he doesn't list an accurate height for any of the previous figures (except maybe Hercules - I've seen the individual robots listed as being 8cm, 9cm and 10cm tall, and have no idea which is correct). MechFans have said a few times on social media that Galvontron's going to be 12cm tall, which would make him the same height as their earlier OS legends.

Mind you, I don't blame you for holding off ordering. MechFans approach to scale - whether to upscale and if so by how much - isn't exactly clear.

Not really. They're in this weird in-between scale where they are too big to be legends but still too small to be a deluxe. I gambled on the OS Legends Prime at $6 shipped to see if he goes well with the DX9 WIP Megatron but its a bit too big next to it. I then bought the OS Megatron to keep him company, also at $6 shipped. I might go for this Galvatron in any case.
