Agreed, that was the worst molding choice for fun pub to make IMHO, they should have waited and used the trailcutter mold, that one would suit him a bit better than swindle but I am glad to see that mach 5's gauntlet is still happening, even if mech ideas is doing it, havent bought the demolition crue yet but i hear so much good stuff about them that you would have high expectaition, again im happy to see this happening still

This is fantastic news! Especially since MechIdeas, IMO, still makes the BEST 3P figures relative to feeling like official Hasbro releases.

But seriously, I need more of these dudes. I've got Fulcrum and Misfire Puggleformers from Cally, and this little beauty by Unicron 9 for Piston/Crankycase to hang out with.

 

This isn't quite true, but I know Diam Choc means it with the best of intentions. Mach 5 was a completely separate toyline, messed about by a factory, another 3P company expressed interest in developing it, that fell through, a retailer moved the goal posts and it looked very likely that the figure was dead in the water.
Like a phoenix from the ashes, MI rescued this from oblivion. They had no involvement with the figure until recently.

The only tenuous link between the two was a freelance designer.

 

I don't want this figure to have any combiner functionality. I just want a really good ironfist that isn't compromised by limitations induced by being a limb. Which, in this size class, I'd imagine would be unavoidable. Keep "ruination" seperate.

 

Aside from TFCC Fisitron, I agree… "WRECKERS, COMBINE!" was just a joke in LSOTW, after all

Pryo is great, because he's Optimus Prime and a Gundam who did a fusion dance. I hope someone makes him at some point as well. His ending certainly stuck with me.  

 

Same. :/ I'd like to see him too. But guzzle and rotor storm are higher on my list.

 

Definitely, Pyro is a minor player in the grand scheme of things. I want the entire LSOTW 'crew, but some are more important than others. Ironfist being my #1. I do wish he came with a second head without his faceplate on, but it's not a big deal.
