Man, just saw the video review for not-Ironfist today, and I'd be awfully tempted to make this guy my first third party figure, to go with T30 Springer, if it weren't for how short he is.

This would be a nice size for, say, Guzzle, but leafing through LSOTW just now, Ironfist ought to come up to about Springer's mid chest...

Even more excited for Fisitron now - he looks beautiful and perfect.

 

I had Gauntlet pre-ordered already, but the review has sold me on Piston now as well!

 

This guy looks pretty fun. Damn I still need to get their first 2 figures!

 

I highly recommend them! They are are a really good value in my opinion and are well designed and made. I don't own many 3rd party figures, mostly just add ons, but of the ones I do own Mech Ideas Wrecking Crue are my favorites.

 

Still waiting for Dr Wu or someone else to step up with an IDW-accurate head for not-Crankcase.

 

Venksta might have that covered, but just hasn't shown us yet. He's shown an Ironfist head with a mouth (like in that one IDW comic) & I think he's had another with a silver mouthpiece. So he's certainly got advanced protos he's messing with. So we migh see a Crankcase alternate soon enough.

The only problem with Venksta's stuff, is that he usually doesn't make as many pieces as the demand.

 

i think that Mechideas are the only that make good figure at resonable price, so we have to support them^^

 

Yup, I'm planning an IDW style head, after someone suggested it to me. Already got Mech iDea's blessing to go ahead with the head upgrade. I'll probably do a regular version, and one with half his head missing, like in the comic.

My kits are limited, but its rare they sell out when initially offered. Still have half the run of the Death Czar/Deathsaurus kits available for order. So what ever the run is for the Gauntlet kit (RFX-003 Fusiontron) and the Crankcase kit, there will be enough time and kits available, if you order within the first week or so.

 

Anybody know if this is delayed?

 

They said on facebook that the stores should have them by the end of June.

 

Sweet! After seeing the club's version, I'm even more excited to get this guy. I wonder how many times they're going to repaint those Combaticons...

I just get annoyed when people want confirmation of everything. This I can kinda understand, as they maybe want to read it themselves, but it's WAY more annoying when people find a toy at retail and all these people want freaking proof with a receipt. I have the frelling toy. If you don't want to believe me, it's your problem. Not mine.
