That's just what I think. The chest is too wide, thighs are too short
Your pics just further cement my opinion. Look at the pics you posted. Looks almost spot on.
lol, sorry dude, but the only difference in the images you posted are the arm length.
I'm hoping the blue is a better match on the final product.
What about how the chest is significantly wider and the shorter thighs?
I'm pretty sure you could grab another image from the same comic and ironfist will have different proportions.
I think you need to look at it as close enough, even with the MP line, no figure is or can be 100% exact.
I'd say it looks like the toy stepped right off the page, if anything I would say the comic one is slightly fatter in the chest if anything but there is hardly anything in it.
Yeah I think this is a pretty perfect Ironfist. The club toy is okay, but the mold they're using is kind of crap.
I wonder how he'll look next to Maketoys Swerve. They're about the same height right?
My guess is awesome!
Indeed it is
I think his proportions look about right. The only major difference between the figure and the art seems to be how far the kneepads are recessed into the shins. They stick out more on the figure, which is why the thighs look smaller.
You guys are no help.
Meh, the proportions are a LITTLE off but not bad, and no more than any other figure, plus this price point is fantastic for this guy.
My only minor qualm is the white eyes/aqua faceplate, but I'm gonna love this guy when I get him I just know it, he's gonna be the best Ironfist we're ever gonna get. Too bad Hasbro didn't get on this IDW kick back during the heyday of LSOTW!
The only difference I notice between this & the comic, is the colors are off. Everything on the comic Ironfist was muted, plus it looked to me that he was a tan gray color, rather than straight gray.
Other than that, just perfect.
The way the legs bow outward (well at least appear to bow outward because of the way the legs are molded) is kinda bothering me. It reminds me Prime RID voyager Bulkhead. Still getting both regardless, just a nitpick
I'm most concerned about the hands... can they hold 5mm weapons? That's my biggest problem with TrashTalk & Cogwheel, I'd hate to see Gauntlet & Piston's weapon options be as limited.
They're most likely 5mm. The Demo Crue has 5mm hands, so I doubt MI would change shit among the toys within a toy line.
Mach 5 designed them, not Mech Ideas.
So, what size did Mach5 make the hands in their cad renders?
Separate names with a comma.
