Thanks bud, that would be greatly appreciated.

So far I've checked Show-Z's store and hzj's list, and don't see anything other than normal Scourge.

MF-20C's face is white instead of silver and his torso blue is a tiny bit different. I can grab my real camera and see if it does a better job showing the differences in the blues. HZJ doesn't have it, I got mine here: Mech Fans TOYS MFT-20C SCOURGERS,In stock! | eBay

    Sounds good, thanks bud. :D

Are there any comparison shots between MF-20 and MF-20C anywhere?

There are now :)  Aside from shrinking them down, I didn't manipulate the pics, so you can see how minor the differences are. YMMV based upon your monitor/screen, of course. MF-20's torso blue is a bit richer or more saturated.

Hmmmmm, not sure if it's different enough to buy a couple for Sweeps, but I appreciate you taking the time to snap those pics. :)

I'll put it in the maybe category.

Yeah, I got it mostly out of curiosity and I hadn't gotten any of the plain MF20's yet, because I really was never in love with him and I was hoping MS would bust one out that looks more like Andras. I ended up getting two of the MF20's from hzj at 13 a pop afterward.

Would've been nice if they had differentiated it a bit more... less silver and more of the pale grey, like the way they did metallic megatron vs the toon paint megatron. Maybe fix that awful face lol

Has anyone attempted giving their Scourge a manicure, and make him more animation accurate? Just curious.

Holy shit those look like they’re Big Powered compatible! Look closely, you’ll see the engineering is really similar, with a knee connector as well as a “foot!”

So my toon Grimlock arrived today and he's....ok.

His sword was broken at the hilt while still in the package, so I'll hafta e-mail TF-Direct about that, but this guy really needed some kind of paint on him, as he's mostly grey plastic.

Hm... like maybe silver paint? Ooh, and then some gold paint. Man, why didn't they just do that in the first place? Would've looked so much better.

Agreed. The original MFT dinos were fantastic, but with just bare grey plastic, these "toon" versions just don't pop like the DX9 originals did. End up looking like cheap knock-offs IMO, although I guess that is what they are! :lol

I get what they were going for, it's just doesn't come off (unlike the first versions, which, again, were fantastic.)

Yeah. The only thing I like about the toon colors is that the lack of paint seems more practical, and that I wouldn't have to worry about the paint not holding up over time.
