looks great..its like a mini masterpiece, or better, a properly proportioned classics XD

 

This figure looks excellent. It's fairly obvious HasTaks has issues turning Rodimus Prime into a physical figure as I have never been that satisfied with any of their attempts. MP 09 looks the part, but actually touching it is a mess.

 

Regarding the Rodimus alt mode Windshield: I'd wager Toyhax will be ALL OVER that with a killer decal to make it even better in about 5... 4... 3... 2...

 

Amazing, but just a tad too tall.

 

Agreed, I wish this was the same size as MS Light of Justice or even MFT's War in Pocket Galvatron OSKO. Oh well it will still look great with the rest of the Legends bots, extra centimeters be damned!

Sometimes baba puts up a placeholder price, then reduces it later, maybe this is one of those cases? I hope. Show z doesn’t list a price.

 

Considering the trailers its not that outlandish a price. HS Prime goes for about that.

Yeah it isn't totally unreasonable, but after buying Magnus 2.0 for $27 it is a bit of sticker shock. I realize UM was a copy while this is a bit more of an original design.

 

So, why does he have the red legs with toy-accurate details visible on his alt mode, but cartoon-accurate dark grey legs in bot mode? Are the grey pieces somehow optional/removable?

 

I like this but $55 for a legends class figure is out of control.

 

For MFT it's pricier than normal but this is a figure with a truck and a Targetmaster figure so it was toen he expected it would be a little bit pricier.

 

i am sure he will drop to around 40 or less when this finally comes out.

Looks nicer than both of the Masterpieces.

 

MP-09 had issues, both on the Takara and Hasbro side, which I'm sure didn't help it. MP-09 is now outdated too, IMO. I think if it was officially re-done, he would be much improved but how much so when compared to how MP-44 came out, IDK. Personally, Rodimus needs his own mold and not shared with Hot Rod.

In the meantime, I'm down for this figure. This is the best representation I've seen, next to MAYBE DX9's but they goofed up the TM and colors so I passed on that one.

 

Strange legs/knees? But yeah overall you probably won't be able to knock this... I would like to presume from chromedome that the decal like bits are painted?

If they're not, might be a bit of a judgement call vs papa toys version... If that is paint it looks like another mft winner for me.

 

Ok, I dig him. Bit tired of G1 formers, but I dig him. Plus, more Hotrode is always a plus.
