Great company, bad spellers. Should be a small Deluxe. Transformation is clearly based on the Combiner Wars Legends toy.

So is that supposed to be a Legends-class?

Probably a companion piece for their Sky Walker toy, which is their version of Optimus Prime.

That spoiler seems to be completely new, at least I cannot spot it. Was it lifted from something?

Now that we know their DX9 upsized Galvatron is a deluxe, this one suddenly makes more sense.

The side exhaust pipes and spoiler look improved.

I think they've said that Galvatron (or 'Galvontron' as they're calling him) will be 12cm, i.e. the same height as their earlier upscaled legends figures (with the exception of the component parts of 'Hercules', which they kept at the original DX9 'Hulkie' height). I assume this will be a similar size.

Was excited, then I saw... upscaled KO of legends class figure.

I thought a remold of Scamper would have worked better for Hot Rod in the first place, but that's another topic.

Looks like a modification of ariel lemon's gun/axe piece for this figure: CW Blackjack Upgrade "Gun-Axe" by fakebusker83 on Shapeways

Looks like they're planning to remold the chest so it looks more Hot Rod-ish:

It's new. They also didn't seem to fix the horribly hollow chest the Machine Boy had.

I paid $3 for my terrible MB Rodimus. I'm not spending another $15.

HORRIBLE decision. That mold sucked as Hot Rod. They should have just made their own or downscaled the MP toy.

This thread is very old now. They didn't release it so hopefully they understood it was not worth doing because people want better versions. We have no hotrod in 3p legends scale so one should becoming, or three.

Agreed, while the remolded bits help, it's still not a great Hotrod. I'm making my own until a better version comes out.

Never knew about this. I really like the Machine Boy version as it finally gave me a scout size version of Hot Rod.

I'd definitely have bought this if it was the same scale especially since they tried to make it look more Hot Rod.

    Shame it was cancelled.

Well I think there is a new design floating about not sure about the size or what have you but it looks a damn sight better than this.
