Anyone who recently got the toon-coloured reissues have any problems with Slag's arm swivels?

Mine were very tight on both arms, only budged a little. After applying heat with a hair dryer, I managed to loosen one of the arms swivels with no issues, but the other one developed stress marks on the peg, and still only swivels 45 degrees one way. Have also tried petroleum jelly as well.



Wondering if I should go through the trouble of getting a replacement, but if they are all the same, then not much point.

 

I personally didn't experience any issue with the arms of my cartoon Dinos. None of them came out of the box excessively tight.
That said, rotating the legs - even just a little - with Sludge and Grimlock... Oh boy, what a nightmare.

 

I have no issues with any leg swivels for all 5. Looks like between the 2 of us, we got ONE perfect set.  

My Grimlock has loose hips, elbows, and passable shoulders.

Sludge is great, except the flaps under his hands can be tighter.

Swoop and Snarl - loose hips.

Slag is nice and tight, except his overly right arm swivels.

 

Does anyone that has the flight adapter for swoop want to sell it to me? Or if they have access to a 3d printer can make me one and ill pay for it? Thank you for any information.

it's been a long long time since i have messed with one. but i am pretty sure the MFT flight stands come with all the necessary mounts as well...i think

 

Just got Snarl (Sonarl) from ShowZStore and I'm really happy with him. Had some points I wanted to cash in, and nothing on the horizon I wanted to order, so I got him extra cheap. Tons of paint, 3 weapons, about the size of a tall deluxe (~5.5") and not too difficult to transform. Very happy with him.

 

Yeah I saw ShowZ post that for sale surprisingly instock. Already have it and tbh the clearance in transforming him back to bot from dino felt like it was going to snap so hes my one MFT Dinobot that remains in robot mode always.

 

damn, i wish they brought back the entire metallic set. i'd trade up my toon set.  

 

Some of the metallic characters even had KO diaclone minifigs.

 

If you are interested in them, Im thinking of selling off and just doing Magic Square combiners and Dr. Wu.

 

Is it still possible to get the set of these guys that has red swoop? Looking on aliexpress, I can only find the version with blue swoop.

 

Is it still possible to get the yellow Swooper with the Blue chest? Is it sold on its own, or only in a set? When did it get released?

 

I guess MFT is reissuing the set?

Cool bundle, but too late for me. Now that MS announced theirs I won't bother. Not comparable though, this one will be like 1/4 the price or even less.
