My only problem with this toy is that it will make me want all 3 'con triple changers.
Can\'t Wait To See The Robot Mode!
Don\'t Worry @MidnightBliss They\'re Probably Making A Blitzwing And An Octane Right As We Speak
That would be pretty cool by me, If you had all 3 by the same company it would make a great set! While I would certainly prefer them in the smaller scale I can certainly get behind the Classic triple changers being a bit taller. So here I am actually cheering for MFT Blitzwing and Octane!
That looks very not bad at its scale. I’m twice sold on Leader ‘Train but my interests have certainly piqued. I can use one of this size for when I’m at work.
For a Legends-scale triple changer, this looks fantastic so far (reserving judgement for robot mode, of course).
That's what I always personally liked about Astrotrain, the contrast between one of the earliest forms of transportation to one of the most advanced forms of travel.
Also, it suggests that Astrotrain himself may be a little off in the head.
It was time for Astrotrain to leave, he had seen everything.
Step it up Hasbro...
If being honest, I don't see how MechFansToys' one looks any better, other than the fact that it's smaller like the G1 toy. The Siege one looks pretty damn sexy in its own right, way way better than the TR one.
We don't discuss that thing around here.
My question is; how many repaints will we get?
Also, comparing the two is like asking why my bicycle-built-for-two keeps losing at motocross. Sure they're similar shapes, but what they're trying to accomplish is very different.
It's MFT so one if we're lucky.
Yeah, that is probably a safe bet. I'm just hoping they mix it up a little and release at least a couple of different decos.
It looks ok for the size, but the lack of working train wheels (or even complete wheels at a couple spots) turns me off.
It will take some creative paintwork to fix those half wheel-joint things.
Trains get plenty of love from ol' Vanessa here.
Wheel classification is very important in the train world.
This legends train is much better than Hasbro's latest effort in my humble opinion.
I rest my case.
The half wheels are an understandable complaint. You want working wheels at this scale on a triple changer for MFT prices? SMH, you have some really high standards.
Looks nice and have no complaints on the upcoming $30 Hasbro version either. Nice to have these choices these days.
$30? I thought he was Seige Leader priced? I mean, I'll take it at the $30 voyager price for sure I just thought I read that somewhere in one of the other threads.
