    I got this GrimLock
    Grimlock (2006) - Autobot Dinobot Commander - www.tfu.info
but not that one. The Japense one with the chrome.

Anyways. There are two tabs on the tops-black shoulder parts which should close down onto the arm-sholulder white part. But the tabs don't seem to line up. Is this a know problem?

Is there anything I can do about it?

Yup, well know back to the original feedback thread I'm sure. It's one of those design WTF moments.

Yeah, those don't really lock in place, just makes you think they do.

They're swapped, a factory error that was never corrected. Knocking those pins out and fixing them is almost impossible and can be pretty destructive to the toy. That, the overall design, and the ridiculously loose hip sockets made it easy for me to give mine away and pick up MP Grimlock for my Classics display.
