I really like the sculpt used for Doomguy here, but I had wanted to get the “classic” colors version. Unfortunately, the Bronze Edition was all I could find. However, it was lacking something... Doom. Namely blood splatter. Because Doom is one of the more continually violent games out there, a clean Doomguy just feels wrong. Thankfully, I had some red paint and a small screwdriver. I’m actually really proud of the blood on the sword at this point. I also added the gold and silver highlights and did some depth with black ink on some of the crevices. It looks... good now. And as a bonus, my one change to the modern Marvel Legends Thing figure: Man needs his wedding ring, after all.
