I guess the best we got was the TF2 Leader Prime.
Sad to see the toys downgraded in quality so much

It doesn't look that bad actually. If it is the Leader class figure for TLK line then I'd say it's a pretty good effort to making him not as kibbly as the AOE mold was. Also this means we may see a Leader Class TLK Megatron as well.

If that is legit, that's incredible. There's almost no kibble on the legs or arms, and even the torso seems fairly clean. It looks like there may be a backpack, but it can't be too large or else we could see it. I know it's a fuzzy grey prototype image so some parts might be unclear, but just from that picture, this thing could be rivalling the ROTF Leader in terms of engineering.

Looks like some form of a knock off to me. In fact, it looks like a kit bash someone did with a Gundam figure and put some parts on it to make it look "something" like OP lol

Hasbro will never go back to ROTF engineering, too many complaints from parents and collectors. If this is legit I'm not surprised at all.

If this is legit, I think it is a great improvement from the AOE mold. It has potential even just seeing a picture like this, blurry and prototype-gray, it looks ok (I just don't like the square almost Kre-o waist but whatever), and then think about what Takara as done for the AOE Leader Prime... with this mold and that paint apps it would be amazing.

it might be look kinda bad but considering how hard those designs are I think it´s a magnificent work by the toy designers ...

... definitely a step-up from the aoe toys either way !!!

The chest looks so blocky. At least the kibble seems to be well hidden.

Looks fine to me, even though it's not totally accurate.
But hey, who knows, maybe Optimus will get yet another upgrade in this movie, lol.

This looks way better than all the other toys of this design. The truck parts are actually well hidden this time.

You sure? If so, that would be a pretty impressive build.

Well, I'm not really sure but those two pieces hanging beneath is waist look like LEGO pieces. That, along with the blocky build kind of hints more towards an impressive custom LEGO build someone made. I doubt this would be sold as a leader class toy given its skinny, blocky build

Well, we did have alot of blocky molds in the first movie line. Remember the first leader Optimus Prime mold?
