Which T-Rex is that one? I've not seen super colossal in those colours.

Well idk why I’ve never made the jump before, but i recently started my Jurassic park toy collection. Really loving the Legacy and amber collection lines! I’ve got a bunch more on the way. Sucks the amber dilophasaurus is so expensive now!

I picked up the the new Ceratosaurus today from Target. This is SO MUCH BETTER than the old one. Better paint job, better pose, better stability, better action feature, nice long tail. Definitely recommend picking this one up.

A little late, but here's some Hammond pictures. He doesn't look like he's been dragged in the mud, but he does look like he got some dust on him. (Probably from shaking hands with Grant and Sattler.)

It's as @Chosen said. It's a custom. I'm not quite finished with it yet. It's my placeholder until the hopeful release of an Amber Collection one.

Same - there was a slight delay. Should have mine by Friday.
Glad I was finally able to trash my original orange Legacy T-Rex that had a piece of his tail break inside the socket and would rattle incessantly.

Other than the clear stand, is there any difference between the new JP Amber Collection raptor and the original release? It doesn't look like it from the pictures, but I know the V2 Malcolm had a few extra paint apps.

Yes, they are different colors. The new JP raptor is lighter and more yellow.

So realistically, what do you think are the chances of us ever getting an Amber Collection T-Rex?

I don't know if Mattel has something similar to Haslab but that's the only way I can see it happening. Unless they test the waters first with a like $100 Triceratops, then try a T-Rex down the road. I don't see it being less then $150 though.

I'd pay good money for an Amber Collection 1/12 scale Tyrannosaurus rex. I hope it happens.
It seems that Amber Collection is picking up steam with releases, which hopefully means it's being successful. If it is, they might test out bigger dinosaurs and maybe vehicles or dioramas I'd be happy with any of it. I don't want to have to collect the legacy Collection just to get the big dinos and vehicles.

Isn't that Giant T-Rex they had out close to 1/12 scale?

It is, but I want one with more articulation like the Amber Collection figures have.

I don't see any way they make another 1/12 scale since they already have the Super Colossal. I don't really know how much better it can get? Adding articulation would be nice but with the SC already out for a while, I don't know how well another would sell. Mattel's pricing is kind of crazy IMO for what you're getting so far, for their crowdfunding, worse than Hasbro's. I think a better 1/12 Rex would be like $250 minimum from them.
